    HKS ES Premium Ti Limited

Title says it all - brand new set-up, mid section and mufflers.
Had a go at Fujitsubo system and got bitterly disappointed since it was way too loud than I expected. HKS is just more refined, in many aspects.

Your cars always seem to have that level of cleanliness and refinement that a lot of people, myself included, strive for. Well done sir.

On a side note, I may PM you in the future to discuss axle back fitment for the BLE. I kind of want to change my set up if I can find one of the few options I am looking for at a reasonable price. I would likely have to get them shipped to the US. I really like the look of the STI Sport quad tip mufflers.

Thank you sir! I just snap photos when the car is clean This one is so damn hard to clean/keep clean though, blue colour was so much easier, not to mention beige interior :/ You can see all the dust and dirt on it, especially after a few drops of rain.

Sure, flick me a pm or we can discuss in yours or my 3.0R threads if you do not mind others to see. STI quads are imho overpriced for what they are. And won't give you much increase in sound especially with the stock
midsection. They probably will do a good job with containing unwanted noise levels and raspiness if you decide to upgrade your headers,do cat delete and mid pipe upgrade.

Next mode: Impreza STI Spec.C version 11 brake calipers and braided brake lines + DBA T2 rotors

Initially I was planning to keep ver7 set up from the 3.0 but encountered a few issues along the way which I did not know about.

    1. Front is straight bolt-on, as expected, no issues there
    2. Rear calipers bolt-on with adapters but become offset too far from the center meaning pads do not cover the whole area of the disc
    3. v7 rear rotors center drums are higher than stock BR/GR rotors meaning the disc will scrape the caliper
    4. Front brakes lines are the same, rear are two-piece on BL and one long line on BR/GR - not interchangeable

Became apparent that ver.7 set-up is too much of a pita to get sorted while ver.11 would've been a straight bolt-on solution. Was lucky enough to find a reasonably priced set, as a bonus they were off a spec.C STI (orange-ish gold vs black) and came with a set of STI braided lines (stock on spec.C).

All of a sudden this thing attracted some interest

I guess it is time for another update...

    1. Crystal Eye head and tail lights to make her look different. Blacked out headlights, smoked tails.

    2. STI push start button

    3. OEM optional mesh grille went on at some stage, as well as a front Cusco strut brace

    4. Mitsuba Alpha II horns. No thank you, I hate Hellas if you were about to ask...

    5. Then it was a Ultra Rcaing 21mm RSB in place of a pathetic 15mm (my ass...) stock bar

    6. Blitz Hybrid AC filter

    7. HKS 13003-AF003 charge pipe. This was a major stuff-up, completely forgot that JDM models have electronic power steering and NZ/AU/US/EUDM have hydraulic with an extra pulley/belt etc which not surprisingly get in a way of a JDM pipe.

I reckon this brings us up to date...

Cheers guys. The car is a write-off unfortunately.
I'm ok, just got a broken nose which will have to reconstructed at some stage.

Young international student from a certain Asian country run through a stop sign, T-boned the rhs of my car, I then mounted a curb and hit a retaining wall.

Picked up a new car on 17/07/17.

It's a wagon and a turbo. It's not a Subaru though. After 4 generations of Legacies it's time to try something else.

Ohh didn't think anyone would be interested

It's a f11 535i M pack - straight six twin-scroll turbo. Just like with Subarus don't think you ever had 5er wagons offered in the US?

Got new suspension installed recently, Bilstein B12 Pro kit which consists of B8 struts and Eibach springs. Contemplating on whether to upgrade swaybars or not, it doesn't handle too bad for a wagon of this size, pretty firm and comfy as it is and I do not want to end up with a very firm suspension set-up.

I like BMWs. A few of my friends have them. One has a really nice e46 M3. Your wagon is awesome. We do not have the current 5 series wagons in the US. We did get previous ones. A guy on the other side of my neighborhood has an e39 wagon. I actually had a chance to buy an e39 M5 that was always dealer maintained before I bought my 3.0R. I passed on it for some stupid reason.

Awesome 535! I can't say I'd want to truly own one, simply because I couldn't afford to own one, but I do like them a lot. Nice choice!

Oh shit, I saw that crash on the ol Facebook a month or two back, had no idea you were in the BMW! Well I’m sure crash safety is going to be one of the main factors in your car purchasing descisions from now on, that’s a bad run!
