Excellent! What are the thoughts about going back to Centennial Park? Are we going to pay to reserve a site? That was always the hangup about that place.

We would have to pay. Its not very much. But we think it would be worth it.

The pavilions are $165 for residents.. but the problem is, that is just one pavilion. We only used one pavilion before (mostly E, but we did spill over into F one year), but we used the parking for all three (E, F, and G). I think that unless we reserved all three of those sites, we are going to be fighting for parking. This is why we never did it there past April 1.

Yeah, we are still talking about it. Nothing is set yet. We are thinking to hold the meet in May for better weather.

Hmm... Lets see where it goes. I'm hoping to make it, but family and other things may have conflicts this year. Also, I need to talk to @Yamazaki as well. Hope I can make it again this year. It's always a fun time for me!

We can figure it out for sure! Otherwise I can try to think about some other good options in the area!

This is just a thought. NOVA Subarus is hosting a large event on Sunday May 7th in Farifax, VA. There will be sponsors and giveaways at their event. Would you all be open in holding our meet on the 6th so the out of town people would have the option to stay and go to both? Again, its just a thought.

Another location we are looking into is at Liberty Dam in Marriottsville, MD. Its a nice scenic area. We are going to see if they have picnic areas and grills and look into if we need to reserve anything.

I'm hoping to have money saved up from a new job by then. School shouldn't be an issue... I'm pretty sure the only weak link for me might be the actual car. Hopefully I'll have it in better shape by then!

I have thought about those locations since I live in MOCO. But I think they would be crowded. I also need to find out cost for renting a pavilion there.

There is a Dam by me called Liberty Dam that would be a very scenic location and will definitely fit everyone. It also has a nice and windy road going down to it. I shot a video there recently with my drone:

As far as I know (and have read), you can grill there. If anyone has a grill they would want to bring that would work. I believe there are some grills there, but you can't see them in the video. Here is the location on the map. It is parked with the small gray marker. You just have to search "Liberty Dam Road" pretty much.

Here are some shots I took yesterday of the Dam parking area. I did not see any Dam grills or a Dam bathroom. As far as I can tell, you can bring a grill to cook out.

Still working on it. Early May works better for me personally than late May. Any input? Everyone else can throw out dates that work them as well.

May look good so far for me. Since I'm getting ready to fly out to the West Coast in a week and half from now. I'm also flying out to the mid west for my cousin wedding in April but I will confirm the date in few weeks right now it's not time to ask since we have a death in the family.

I like the looks of Liberty Dam, especially with our cars being called Libertys in Aus.

Sadly, it's looking like my Legacy won't make it. Might have to show up to an SL-i meet in a Honda. But I still want to come see all you guys.

I'm in if it's in the DMV area the closer to June it is the more likely I'll be able to bring my boosted legacy. May is fine too, that gives me a deadline to move my butt. In any case, I promote meets in the DMV area on social media and would be happy to advertise through my channels.

After further research, we can't do any dam cooking at liberty dam so I would scratch that off. We can rent a pavilion at centennial park for fairly cheap. I'll confirm pricing. As for the date, Boxerfest is Sunday June 11th. So we could have our meet on Saturday June 10th if anyone wants to go to Boxerfest the next day and make a weekend of it. Feel free to make suggestions on dates.
