I've been wandering around SLi for while for information so I'd thought I'd introduce myself. I'm in the middle of a H6 and 5MT swap with my OB. My goal with my car is constantly changing but currently I'm about to do a tan to grey interior with jdm headlights and a few other things.
So I bought this car for 500 bucks with a poorly rebuilt 3liter after rebuilding it developed what I thought was knock, I swapped the motor out with a MUCH younger 3liter for Japan-land. Got that all swapped and nicely buttoned up drove it for not quite 50 miles aaaannnnndd the transmission let go. In retrospect, the first engine was probably fine but oh well.
After some discussion my wife and I decided to pull the trigger on a 5 speed swap and we went down the rabbit hole.
So thats really it for now but ill start a build thread on the car later, looking forward to contributing!
