'95 Legacy Postal ECU pin out?

Hey all, I'm new here (not to legacys). back in august I picked up a postal that needed a transmission. so, being the sensible human I am, I 5 speed swapped it. the one thing that is killing me is I cant find a solid Pin out. I'm trying to find the AT/MT identifier pin and I cant for the life of me. I have access to ALLDATA at work, and it displays 2 different non trim specific pin outs. one says the identifier is pin 81 and the other says pin 50. I tried both of those and neither worked. my P1702 code keeps returning along with IACV. if anyone has any info it would be a huge help, Thanks!!!

The 1995 Legacy service manual that we have available in the Manuals section would have the pinouts in it.

Sure it does. Both in the Wiring section and the On Board Diagnostics section.

Search for P1702 in on-board diagnostics, I see it on page 346-348 of section 2-7.

that diagram is for LHD models. I grounded pin 50 (as it says is the identifier pin) and threw a code for p1702 within a few miles

If it was specific to the LHD model, it would have been indicated as such. Are you 100% certain that you grounded pin 50, and not pin 65? Subaru does their pinout diagrams from the perspective of viewing the connector from the contact side, not the wire side.

It is also possible that the Postal ECU (which is unique to the Postal), does not care about the state of pin 50, since the vehicle was only available as AT here.
