Custom center console gauges
Started off with two gauges oil and volt gauges. MDF board, fleece, spray on adhesive and two part resin. Cut two measured and cut two holes in the console with the metal brackets that were provided when the gauges came in. Used the MDF board to make molds for the gauges. Mounted the board using small screws to hold it in place. Spray the adhesive over the council in the MDF board. Lay the fleece on top. Fleece is perfect it stretches and hurts to all the areas you want to mold to very easy to cut out the holes wrap them around you put tin foil in between where the holes will be going that way when you put the resin on top it doesn't stick to it. Spread the resin on with a throw out paint brush. Next have to spend hrs sand and body filler helps fill in those holes in areas to make it even and stock look. I'm at the stage of preparing to sand it one more time before paint.
