    *SOLD* 1996 Subaru Legacy L 2.2L 64k Miles! *SOLD*

Offering this 96 Legacy with low mileage to any active members still peeking in the classifieds here on SLI!

Just a bit of backround... I have been an active member of this forum for years as well as a certified Subaru technician for the last 7 years and 5 years as a Toyota tech before that. I picked up this Legacy from a friend in Chicago. His cat was stolen and he was looking at getting his family into a newer Subaru. I took the car over and got the car back to a healthy state using Subaru parts and fluids. The original owner was a woman in Green Bay WI. She owned the vehicle for over 25 years! My friend was the second owner for about a year or 2 and then myself. From here I will just copy and paste my post on offer up. The vehicle is not perfect but it is in very good condition with extremely low mileage and a very healthy motor! The vehicle is currently posted on offer up, craigslist, and facebook. I am willing to negotiate price and possibly deliver but really looking for local pickup. Willing to answer any questions just post or send a DM. I will also be posting up a 2005 Subaru Impreza that was my daily driver for many years. Thanks for your interest guys!

It hurts me to not be able to get this. It's the spitting image of my first Subaru, minus the '96+ mirrors. I know you say "price is negotiable," but I'm fairly certain it's not "I'll have $400 on Saturday" negotiable.

Yikes! That's a pretty LLLLOWW ball from a fellow member! lol I understand though. You know if you added a 0 I would be less offended.

It's still here if your situation changes. I am getting a lot of interest, it just seems to be hard to get anyone here in person to drive it. I guess Salem Lakes WI is not the place to sell an old Subaru. I will say there is an old SLI memeber who came to look at it yesterday. He may be back to pick it up this weekend.

I'll be sure to update the thread when it sells.
