Stiffer tranny mounts reduce flex under load, giving your car a more solid feel. Probably more worth it for a manual, but I'm sure it does something for the auto as well.Originally Posted by Superu264

Hmm.. maybe.
I'm still trying to figure out if I want to put any more effort into the Legacy, it may be staying in the family

Ohhh, great find... Forward this on to a buddy in need...
Time to stick with what the badge says...
You could just fill the center just like the MT mount... use some hardout urethane, saran wrap and tah-dah!

No idea. I have a used tranny mount I'm waiting to find something for...
You could probably find something at a hardware store...

RTV urethane is what you need. you can get it on ebay in shore 80 hardness for pretty cheap. I have a bunch at home and could make a tranny mount when I swap my legacy to manual. It's not particularly difficult, but prep work on the mount is a little time consuming.Originally Posted by Wiscon_Mark

what would be the difference in feel between the racing and comfort?
I would think that these are made so you no longer have to bother doing it yourself..... for 30 bucks, to not have to do it yourself? I'd be all over that.

Firmness of the urethane, probably.Originally Posted by drano

Wow I never seen this, anyway isn't funny people can't justify spending $30 on a part but rather spend $10 less and spend more time filling it in than opening the box when the UPS guy drops it off.
