    Stiffer tranny mounts reduce flex under load, giving your car a more solid feel. Probably more worth it for a manual, but I'm sure it does something for the auto as well.

    You could just fill the center just like the MT mount... use some hardout urethane, saran wrap and tah-dah!

    RTV urethane is what you need. you can get it on ebay in shore 80 hardness for pretty cheap. I have a bunch at home and could make a tranny mount when I swap my legacy to manual. It's not particularly difficult, but prep work on the mount is a little time consuming.

    I would think that these are made so you no longer have to bother doing it yourself..... for 30 bucks, to not have to do it yourself? I'd be all over that.
