I know this sounds like a dumb question but I am trying to find out exactly how many places the VIN# can be found on my 90 legacy wagon. I know on other cars they put it on the door, the frame, the engine and sometimes the glass. What about mine?

Not sure, but I know for my 98 its at the bottom drivers side of the windshield. Also, theres a plate near the drivers side strut tower with the VIN
I found 3 places for the VIN so far.
Under the hood on the drivers side strut tower
On the dashboard
Drivers side door pillar (bottom rear of drivers side door)
If anyone knows if there are any more please let me know.
I also need to know the size of the drill bit needed to drill out the rivets. (Bit should be same size as hole that was drilled for rivet)
check the trunk lid. there may be a sticker in there.
not sure about the earlier Subies, but I've seen VIN stickers on hoods, trunk lids, fenders...and I'm sure that any other major body part would have the same.
