    BG Radios Questions

OK. I have 2 different CD, Tape and Weatherband radios I'm wonderring about.
this one is out of my '98 and says P117 on it

this one is out of a '99 I got for parts and says P118 on it

Both have the same goodies from what I can tell, but are different. The '99 says Panasonic on it and from what I can tell the CD player is seperate from the radio/ tape part.
What's the difference between these two radios and what are they worth?

They're essentially the same, but the 2 unit one will give you more flexibility if you want to retain cassettes but upgrade the CD player.

Not really worth using either, unless cassettes are to die for.

So many cheap good headunits around these days - Walmart has an $80 special on a Pioneer HU + 2 speakers...

I'm not going to be using either one, I've replaced mine with an Alpine unit but am going to keep the stock one incase I ever decide to sell it. I was just wondering the differences between the two.

In that case, I would keep the 2 x 1 DIN units. Not the 2DIN one.

    Although the 2DIN looks nicer.
