    If you had the choice...

I know we are all Subaru nutz here, but for shits and giggles please answer the poll honestly.

If you were to be offered these two cars at no cost to you, which would you choose?

    2007 STi

    2007 G35 Coupe

Both are 6MT's and around 300bhp

STi no doubt. Not because I think its a superior car, but because I could not be seen in a G35. Eveyone in this area that owns one is a complete asshole, not to mention around here high end cars like the G35 are looked down on, mainly because everyone in Philly is too poor to own one. Its messed up but you're more respected for driving a "normal" car.

Too much douchebaggery goes on in G35s, not so in STi's.

At no cost? G35 for sure.
If my cruiser and highway speed demon and my weekend golf outing car is free, might as well be one that with some tint, wheel changes and suspension work will get me that front valet space.

Sometimes, it's nice to go slow and have people drool at you.

anyhow, dewing the STi, tint and debadge, ya know, clean it up real nice and hell yeah i'll take that over a g35.

4 doors is always better than 2, and besides, i don't like g35s interiors much.

I've seen PLENTY of STi owners who drive like asses. They think the big wing and brakes makes them a WRC driver.

The G35's I've seen are just cruising around... they like getting nods and looks.

The STI is more of a track car while the g35 is a cruiser. STIs are not for normal roads.

I'd go STi. The weather's just too unpredictable around me for a powerful RWD coupe. Plus, the G35 doesn't come in WR Blue Pearl.

I take the G any day over that 07 STi. The G35 is more "grown folk" car than the STi. You may be taken more serious as an adult in the G35 over then STi. It's to extravagant. Don't get me wrong it's a good car but that's how I see it as.

The STi is more practical (AWD, 4 doors), but the G35 would be worth more when sold. Since buying price isn't a factor I wont include selling price. I think I'd take the STi

Gas use is about the same. I wonder what the insurance would be on each...

at this point in time, the STis are holding their value extremely well.

as of a couple months ago anyway.

    it's rather odd.

go look at the prices for 04/05 STis...

I'd take STI they are way more rare than G's in Brooklyn and i really hate the way G looks. just dont get why headlights go on the hood a little longer and you dont need fenders.

I'd probably go with the G35 if it were free. I already have multiple Scubies so it would be nice to have a change of pace (sporty RWD) . Plus, I love the STi drivetrain but I'm not a big fan of the wing and stuff. I'd rather have a bugeye WRX wagon with EJ257/6 speed swap. Now that I would take over the G35.

I should go ahead and vote because I'd still probably take the STi over the G35 (and do an emergency de-Edsel-ification of it ).

I don't see what's so impressive about the Z or the G35. Everyone and their mom's best friend has one, neither are that sporty, and neither are that good-looking IMO.

If I wanted to stay in the douchebag car category, I'd get the new 335i. If I wanted to be slightly different, I'd get a Cayman S. Or just pull out all the stops and get an Elise.

Damn, the Elise is quickly turning into a douchebag car too.

F it, I'll wear pink polo shirts all the time if I get to drive an Elise.

Definitely take the STI. Then convert the front to a bugeye. Practical and hauls ass.
The G35 just looks meh to me. Kinda bland and generic.

G35 if I can have it in the coupe form with the AWD. Then its a Nissan Skyline 350GT.

I like comfort more then speed.

Isn't that why we all have legacies for the most part.

I hate the G35 period and the people that drives them irritate me. They think there the sh**. Putting Skyline badges all over them and think there sh** is fast. I go with the STI over the G35 any day. Then again I stick my 5.0L V8 RWD Benz.
