the WRX wheels will be stripped to their original finish and *maybe* painted dark bronze somewhere down the line....

anyway, installed my new PIAA 115db 500+600hz horns today



they are a huge improvement over the stock one

out of curiosity (and also to help with rotating the tyres) i test-fit the WRX wheels and now i cant wait until i have them on for real. just need to be stripped back to stock, sealed, new tyres, ballanced and then put on the car

The Direzza's are ok until you hit standing water. For a daily I'd rather have something with a little more hydro-plane resistance.

i dont know anything about the brand, but the reviews say the tyre is good, plus its in my budget.....why not?

99SUSSFD has these on his GTB wheels. For the pricepoint I would run some Falken ZIEX 512s or 942s. There's actually a guy near Columbus who was trying to sell a set of Fuzion ZRi's for $200...I think he's in the MWSOC classifieds on nasioc.

Yeah those are the tires I have. I like them pretty well so far. The only issue I have is from time to time the car wanted to pull left or right on its own, but that seems to have lessened with more miles put on the tires. I'm not sure if it's the tires or something else altogether, but I noticed it happening after they were mounted. I need to check the psi.

They're really decently priced though. I can't say I wouldn't recommend them.

i agree with Huffer on tires. i have falken ze 912's and they're pretty all around good, i've always liked the brand.

it was very easy, took maybe 20 minutes at most. i basically just spliced in the wiring for them with the turn signals on the headlights. i think there might be a tutorial somewhere on here, but im not sure.
