Me I love this one, I have the same in my 98 LGT LTD, but mine is the 7800MP it's basically the same as this 9800BT which add the Bluetooth feature. It has alot of features. I know alot of people don't like flashy unit's but I do, it has a motorized faceplate and OEL full 65 000 colors. which you can't upload your own pictures and mini clip.

Oh and it has the "Vehicule Dynamic" feature

But in my mom's Legacy i've installed an Alpine 9857 deck, I don't know but for me it doesn't sound as good as my Pioneer 7800MP.

    looks like neon?
    (because leds are smaller?)

the only reason why I put this HU in,
was because it was sitting in the garage,
and the stock one wasn't playing when it was cold:

I just installed a Sony CDX GT22W headunit got a built in Amp. Yes I know many people despise sony's Audio parts. I got it for $50 new from pepboys last weeks sale. It sounds great and the quality is way better than my last sony headunit. The harness for the car was $20 I've never paied that much for a harness ever! It looked like it was about 15 years old too.

Here's what I've got in my hoopty-wagon. It's a bit slow at loading, well... just about everything, but it works, and sounds pretty good. I have a connection through a family member of mine that knows people who "find things that fall off of trucks", so I'll likely be upgrading to a DVD player at some point. Hopefully a Pioneer AVH-P7800DVD . I would just buy one in a store, but 1500 dollars for a 7 inch screen attached to a DVD player is absolutely ludicrous.

OMG wow I wish I would have saw this post earlier.
I payed guy 200 dollars of my money to install it.
and he messed up 4 things with it and I've been waiting for months to get it fixed.

    1. He didn't place the brain of the H.U. in the right direction so the Nav thinks I'm going doin the street at an angle (like I'm in a constant drift lol)
    2. He did something to my heat cuz ever since I got it back it hasn't worked =[
    3. He put an aux jack for it and it works...but it only plays on the right side of the car.
    4. He did a little mod to make it so I can watch movies while I'm driving and stuff and not worry about the E-brake being up...but I have no idea what happened and it came loose or something and now it randomly says I can't touch it and all kinds of annoyances.

If I saw your post earlier I probably wouldn't be shivering every morning =[

I have the same Clarion as mCarp22. I love this thing! 128 different color options make it easy to match the dash color.

Oh it is a DXZ745MP. Amazing!

Came with the car when I bought it from jakmobile, but it turns out it's the HU I wanted anyway. Flip down face, puts out great sound and reads MP3 discs. It's decent... I don't do big sound systems as I'm now more about lighter weight - speakers and subs add weight and I'm not down with that. But I do want something that sounds good.

I have 2004 WRX front speakers and Alpine Type S coaxials in the rear doors, along with the GT factory tweeters mounted up on the mirrors.

man I have that same Head unit.. haha good thing I checked ebay before I brought it online I spent $50 less and still had a brand new HU.. and from stock to the Alpine was So much better.

I have no clue what I'm going to do with it since I will be getting another headunit with a built in Nav for Feb next year.

    Bump this up. Thinking about doing a head unit and speakers in my BG and I'd like to see what others have done. I'm deciding between these right now;

Both of them have the rainbow of color options so I'll match it to the green of the dash. Gonna pair them with a set of Alpine type S speakers too.
