This is a DIY guide to clearing headlights on a BL. To do this you have to remove the front bumper. Since you already have the bumper off you may consider removing the intake silencer and changing headlight bulbs while you are at it.
TOOLS: Screw driver, ratchet set, torques, goo gone (in case you get silicon on the headlights).
NOTE: The whole car is held together with pop screws. Don't brake them or lose them.
1) Start by removing the Grill. It is held on by two regular screws and 2 pop screws. The grill has 3 tabs underneath holding it to the bumper. Wiggle the grill and it will come out.
2) Now get underneath the car and look for pop screws. There are two in the middle and 2 or 3 on each side. Pop those out and you will notice the bumper still doesn't move. This is because there are two additional screws hidden behind the wheel arch plastic. Pull back the plastic arch and feel the inside of the bumper toward the top of it. There is one screw on each side which will require a socket wrench. Now jsut tug on the bumper and it will pull off.
3) Once the bumper is removed, you will notice the intake silencer box sitting in the fender. You can take the time to remove it now if you want. It is held on by one white pin.
4) Back to the headlights. You will have to remove the bracket underneath the headlights to take them out. It is held on by a few screws on the bottom and the headlights themselves are held on by a few screws ontop.
5) The rest is just like clearing any other headlights. Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Take out the metal screws holding the headlight together as well as the bulbs and the mini wiring harness. Put a headlight on a backing tray and bake for 10 minutes. Take out and see if it can be pulled part. If not, bake for another 2-5 minutes. Once it is pulled apart, unscrew the chrome center piece from the glass. To this chrome piece you will notice the yellow reflectors attached. There are two tabs holding the long turn signal to the center peice. Push these tabs and it will come out. Now jiggle the metal bracket and the orange reflectors will come out. Bake the headlight for 5 minutes and reatach.
