Lots of loose ends tied up today.. front pass corner light, driver step light, battery tie down, and the biggest of them all the KEYLESS ENTRY and ALARM!!!! Also just wrote a huge DIY on putting this in so if you dont have it and you want then go get it because its not difficult to install.

Re: What have you done to your car today?

Decided to finally start prep work for a projector retro in USDM housings.

And hauled 2 refrigerators, a set of shelves, 1 computer and a propane tank in it.

    EDIT:

My clutch slave cylinder ($35 shipped) and brake caliper speed bleeders ($28 shipped) came in today as well.

Got a free pen from OAKOS and some decals, and magnet from Rockauto.com. Yay for free swag!

Pulled and pressure washed the sedan carpet yesterday and helped it finish drying today with a heat gun. I haven't put the carpet back in yet cause the padding on the bottom is a bit damp.

Re: What have you done to your car today?

I de-glued the passenger side front window (peeled the tint a while ago and was too lazy to de-glue at the time. While I had it apart I covered the stupid fake wood with some 3m carbonfiber vinyl. I'm not sure I like it, but I know it's WAY better than the stupid fake wood.

Pardon the pic, apparently my phones camera is jacked up and doesn't focus anymore...

Almost t-boned an f150 yesterday going 55mph. On country roads and he wasn't planning on stopping at the stop sign until he saw me at the very last second. Maybe I should get a brake upgrade?....

Moving time! Been packing and unpacking the car recently.

Tried to install my wrx ebrake handle and realised one of the mounting holes needed a little elongating. Well apparently its made from diamond because I could not cut the steel. I'm going to just make a long slot with the angle grinder. Hopefully it won't be to weak after the fact.

Thats one of the things I love about them! I like the layout better on 2nd gens more then I do on the 3rd gens in some ways. But then again, I guess I'm odd... And I embrace my oddness! LOL

Oh, I'm thinking about taking my hood off and fixing the killed paint from the bug guard and giving it a respray... I have a car some in a month so it would be nice to not have killed paint... LOL

My cables finally gave out in the sun roof so I pulled it out and just screwed it down in the closed position. There was holes in the side brackets that looked like they were made for that purpose.

Re: What have you done to your car today?

Oil change yesterday... and cried some more about the rust spots and the underside of the doors.

I have so many parts, and body panels that need care... I need a week off work and just work consistently on it to bring it back up to spec.

I just got finished fixing all the rust on the underside of the doors... What a PITA. LOTS of grinding, sanding and fiberglassing.
