    Yes officer, I did hit a pedestrian, but instead of dwelling on that why not focus on how many I've missed?

    So, I did not read through this whole thread to see if any one has come up with anything definite for the cruse/ fog switches but I have found something that works. The NEO3-x bulbs kinda work. They are not a perfect fit in the fact that they do not twist and lock in like the stock sockets do. They are a very tight fit however, tight enough that after I forced them into their place I am not afraid that they will fall out. This is a viable choice for anyone looking for LED lights for the cruise/fog switches.
    Here is a link to the bulb that I ordered, the 3mm (T-1) is the size you need.

    They sure are tight!! The problem I had with these bulbs is they were so tight I couldn't remove them (damn polarised bulbs!!!!!) and ending up having to pull the whole fog light switch apart. End result 3 wrecked led bulbs and now have no lighting in my dash or HVAC Hoping like hell it's just a fuse

    haha yep I had to take the switch apart to turn them around but I didn't ruin the bulbs. I also ended up blowing the fuse lol. The fuse is in the the fuse box to the left of the steering wheel, you have to remove the little storage pocket to get to it. Then it is a 10amp fuse, the very bottom middle I believe. The diagram calls it the "illumination" fuse.

    I found that when I did my LEDs in the 97 that the sanding drum on the Dremel was my best friend. I just spun it around the base a few times to make them a little smaller and I cut the little bump off the side attaching things to allow the LED to turn in. Anyone who has seen the LEDs and the original bulbs will know what I mean.

    I also used the FSM illumination circuit diagram and a 9 volt battery with a pigtail attached to check that the LEDs were installed correctly at the dining room table, long before they got to the car.

    Have done all HVAC bulbs, cig lighter ring, ash tray, glove box and door lights now. What a relief, HVAC stopped working, thought I'd cooked it but was just a fuse LOL

    Just an FYI, these dashlight LED's burn out after 1 year. My HVAC are still gong strong, as are my puddle lights, but the cluster I've had all 4 go after about 1 year each. SuperbrightLEDs will ship a replacement, but it's kind of a PITA. For me the look is worth the effort, but buyer beware

    Re: INSTALL LED's for BE/BH dash / interior !!!!!!!!

    Hi,

    What are the LED bulbs for the turn signals and all the warning lights? Also what are the correct fitting fog/cruise LED bulbs?

    Thanks much!!

    www.superbrightleds.com and these are under the 12 v car bulbs, twist lock, & component bulbs.
    and it goes like this : (you'll have to pick your colors)

    PRODUCT # QTY. ()
    * for the dash light bulbs - odometer & time/temp - basically it is a #74 light bulb in a twist lock circuit, but it might be easier to buy these from superbright, unless you want to buy individual sockets, then you could try different colors in other spots (same bulbs as all of the other instrument panel illumination bulbs # T1.5-xHP (2)
    * for the dash/instrument illumination bulb - basically the bulb is a 194 or a 194/168 wedge base # WLED-x4 (4)
    I'm going to be trying some 9 led bulbs for the dash lights too.
    * for hvac / heater illumination - these are twist lock base bulbs - NeoWedge 4mm, led or smd #NEO-4x (3) for the hvac, one of the bulbs is shorter in length so i used 2 regular NEO-4x and 1 NEO4-xHP - which is an smd led

    * for the ashtray / accessory ring / key light ring - #74 bulb - # 74-xHP3 (3)
    * for the dome lights & map lights = #DE3175 / door lights = #DE3021 - 5 bulbs in total #3022-x9 or # 3022-CWHP2 (white) (5) - i used the #3022-CWHP2 for my dome lights
    * the rear interior light for the back compartment is the #921 style bulb
    * the glove box light and the vanity lights for the sunvisors use the # 74xHP3 bulbs

    * for the fog light switch and the cruise control switch i found some led's that should be the right size, but will have to use the old light sockets - i've attempted these bulbs, but they burn out instantly, and are not working. so i'll spend some time trying to build some other ones, eventually.. i found these bulbs under the 'component led's' and they are 3 mm bulbs - # RL3-W3030 & #RL3-B2030 (4)

    ~ you'll have to figure out what your color is and check ur part #'s when you order, but it is very painless, and i got my stuff in about a week, bulbs are anywhere from 79 cents to $9 for a bulb but depends on what kind of color, style, brightness of led or size of led u want. just read their explanation about the intensity / brightness of the bulbs and u might have to experiment like i am still in the process of.

    *i hope this helps the BE / BH guys get some new dash lights. i'm very happy with what i've done so far, and i'll continue to edit the write up on this procedure.
