just gonna say ty ahead of time cuz this will come in so handy while I'm replacing burnt out bulbs in mine. And prolly just recoloring while I'm in there anyway.

So, I did not read through this whole thread to see if any one has come up with anything definite for the cruse/ fog switches but I have found something that works. The NEO3-x bulbs kinda work. They are not a perfect fit in the fact that they do not twist and lock in like the stock sockets do. They are a very tight fit however, tight enough that after I forced them into their place I am not afraid that they will fall out. This is a viable choice for anyone looking for LED lights for the cruise/fog switches.
Here is a link to the bulb that I ordered, the 3mm (T-1) is the size you need.

They sure are tight!! The problem I had with these bulbs is they were so tight I couldn't remove them (damn polarised bulbs!!!!!) and ending up having to pull the whole fog light switch apart. End result 3 wrecked led bulbs and now have no lighting in my dash or HVAC Hoping like hell it's just a fuse

ouch... Tough break... I hope so too for ur sake that it's just a fuse!

haha yep I had to take the switch apart to turn them around but I didn't ruin the bulbs. I also ended up blowing the fuse lol. The fuse is in the the fuse box to the left of the steering wheel, you have to remove the little storage pocket to get to it. Then it is a 10amp fuse, the very bottom middle I believe. The diagram calls it the "illumination" fuse.Originally Posted by Snow Wolf

I found that when I did my LEDs in the 97 that the sanding drum on the Dremel was my best friend. I just spun it around the base a few times to make them a little smaller and I cut the little bump off the side attaching things to allow the LED to turn in. Anyone who has seen the LEDs and the original bulbs will know what I mean.Originally Posted by 02_Legacy
I also used the FSM illumination circuit diagram and a 9 volt battery with a pigtail attached to check that the LEDs were installed correctly at the dining room table, long before they got to the car.

Have done all HVAC bulbs, cig lighter ring, ash tray, glove box and door lights now. What a relief, HVAC stopped working, thought I'd cooked it but was just a fuse LOL

Just an FYI, these dashlight LED's burn out after 1 year. My HVAC are still gong strong, as are my puddle lights, but the cluster I've had all 4 go after about 1 year each. SuperbrightLEDs will ship a replacement, but it's kind of a PITA. For me the look is worth the effort, but buyer beware
Hi,
What are the LED bulbs for the turn signals and all the warning lights? Also what are the correct fitting fog/cruise LED bulbs?
Thanks much!!
