    Re: aggresive fitment legacys

I'm like Ben. I'm not doing it for "aggressive fitment", I'm just trying to cram as much wheel and tire in the fenders as I can without killing my ability to haul stuff. I just end up taking up every last millimeter of what I can get away with. Rolled and pulled, front and rear.

Hallowpoint, what did you have to do to make those fit? Coilovers? Rolled fenders I'd think. It looks really good.

    Re: aggresive fitment legacys

Yikes, I'm too chicken to use a baseball bat. Also I'm in Toronto. I figure I at least give a proper shot at rolling the fender to avoid bare metal and rust. I'm running 205/45 r16s, so not big rims and tires at all. Every once in a while if I take embankments etc with lots of steering lock, the tire will grab the lip and bend it out. Luckily it's easy to pop back in place.

I'm the douchebag in the purple and white shirt.....yes it was planned.

Airgne already posted RPF1's, but here's what a 17x8 RPF1 looks like when its pushed out another 10mm from sti control arms -2.25 negative camber.

    ^Rock orange :P

    5mm all around? I think I need 10mm R, 5mm front.
I was thinking spacers but I don't really want to pay a zillion for bolt ons and am not sure if I trust slip ons.

    Re: aggresive fitment legacys

Thanks, WESTcoast. Luckily the rims were an easy decision for me. $200 for 2 peice bbs rims....couldn't pass it up. I just need something to run for this summer. Will eventually move to 17x8 or most likely 16x8 or 9 next summer. Keep us posted once you pick some rims.

Hallowpoint...purple is gonna look really nice on the black. Purple also really works with the yellow fogs.

I'll leave these here. 17x8.5 ET48 Enkei ES-Tarmacs, 245/40/17 Hoosier slicks (for about two weeks tops, killing them before I put on some 235's)
No, they don't fit. The shoulder of the tire is about 3/8" outside the fender in the front, lol. Go go gadget rollerskates.

The tire back there is not an optical illusion, it really is that wide, lol.

^you can do it but dont run a tire bigger than 225/45. but you will need a slight fender roll depending on your suspension.

    Re: aggresive fitment legacys

Ok cool i was hoping all i would need is to roll the fenders but was thinking it might be a little low offset to fit well. As far as suspension i was prob gonna get some GC coilovers maybe some godspeed or yonaka coilovers and nexen tires

    Re: aggresive fitment legacys

Also i was looking at the Rota IK-F 8.5 wide in 44 et those would prob fit much better along with giving me a lil more tire stretch. OK so now im wondering could i fit 17x9.5 45ET with out crazyy fender rolling/flaring
