I see a lot of newer gens...any 2nd gen folks try running 18 x 8 with a 45mm off set with 225/40/18 ? im seeing a lot of sizes being run.

EDIT!!! Thanks to the threads and a little clarification from a few members I decided to go 215/40/18 tires wrapping 18 x 8 Bremmer Kraft BR10 with a +45 offset.

Im running 235/40R18s on my car now. But for a while i was running 245/45R18s on my 95 leg. I have determined that you cant run anything bigger than a 245/45R18 without cutting to make them fit. Mine rubbed on the strut AND the inside of the fender and incase you havent seen my fenders, i rolled the bah-jesus out of mine.
No, no ,no I'm not insulting you, I'm describing you!

So I needed to get some wheels for summer tires, as I was getting concerned about wasting my Nokian Hakkappeliitta R2's.
I was browsing the local online classifieds when I found the wheels of my dreams, OZ Superleggeras.
    Here's my find, laced up.

^Nice. Are you planning on lowering it? Your probably need to roll your fender/panel cause it will rub, which I'm sure you already know

No, they don't fit. The shoulder of the tire is about 3/8" outside the fender in the front, lol. Go go gadget rollerskates.

The tire back there is not an optical illusion, it really is that wide, lol.

I need help guys. I have a 98 legacy wagon on 06 wrx struts and swift springs. I am looking to run a 17x8 +35 wheel and a 215/45-17 tire. I am guessing I would need to roll? Anything else? Thanks in advance.
