will a Helix dNA coilover off a 03 WRx sedan fit to a BG?

rear looks exactly the same as a BL/BP to me. So a full set of that suspension should fit a BE as far as I can tell, along with rear swaybars. Front swaybars from BE to BL are not the same though.Originally Posted by EJ25_B4_RSK
The intended purpose of this thread is pretty much why I joined this forum. Looking for more options for my '95 sedan. However, reading through this kinda gives me a headache. From the original post I gather I can throw any GD Impreza suspension on my BD Legacy (Sedan to sedan, right?). But reading through the rest makes me uneasy and confused. Is it "Yes it fits, bolt it in, done." or "Yes it fits but you need to swap left and rights, turn stuff around or some other stuff." The parts I'm looking at are the Bilstein PSS9's. http://www.bilsteinus.com/cart/index.ph ... 073&zenid= Will these work? And if so how much work to make them work?
Thanks, B

I google-fu'd this and didn't see anything on it. Maybe I should have my black belt revoked, but I have a set of 06 WRX springs. Can I put these on BG Outback Struts? I am not looking to lower it too much, but I definitely want to stiffen it.

So I have a 1997 bg5 GTB wagon, 02-07wrx/04sti shocks will bolt right up? Or do I need the wagon specific WRX shocks?
Ok, so if i understand, the GC impreza struts and springs I have (KYB GR2 and Prodrive P1) will bolt onto my '99 GT Limited sedan if I swap the rear tophats? will a sedan get the same butt sag as the wagon?
04 STi works, installed it today with breeeze.
ok so I now know that I can use 02-07 wrx and 04 sti struts, am I going to get sag using them or do I have to use wagon specific struts?
i used STi pinks takeoffs and it has buttsag in the rear. dunno about wrx wagon though.
anyone know where to get Bilsteins rebuilt on the east coast? I dont want to ship to cali
soooo.. i dunno if this is a reallly noooob question but if i wer to buy aftermarket coilover setup for a 02- 07 GD it would still fit right, im guessing yes but i just want to make suuure, 100% sure before i go spending a minimum of a gnote on coilovers for my 98 BD

So, little different question.
I'm looking at GD AST4100s, which I know will bolt up. My question is on FRONT top hats/camber plates-- will GC front top hats/plates work without rotating the bolt pattern (and loosing their utility)? I.e. if I use front GC camber plates or top hats, will I be able to use the camber/caster adjustment as intended, or will it still be rotated slightly and off? I'm likely going to go with the Vorshlag plates when I get to it, which come in both GC and GD versions.
Thanks suspension gurus!

95 BMW M3 Track Car....with stuff.
What if I wanna just stiffen the car up, maybe a little lower. What struts/shocks should I use if I don't wanna spend a fortune. I don't want butt sag either.
98 Outback Wagon- family hauler
97 Legacy GT Sedan- exhaust, WRX wheels, K&N filter
04 Scion xA- the family golf cart- Tein springs
95 Mustang V6- for those times when we wanna be loud and slightly fast- supercharged, FR springs, Tokico shocks, exhaust, blah, blah, blah
OEM wrx struts with saggy butt spacers. if your thrifty then it should cost you less then $150.

same here on my bh wagon? so i can straight swap 04 sti assembly to my car and get a decent height drop? or noOriginally Posted by Dmang
Only the fronts.. you have a multi-link rear setup .. super fancy .. super complicated...Originally Posted by 90lsturbo
well from ive been told i can direct swap all the stock 05 wrx stuff on the bh with some slight modding on the rear and get a 1" drop and a pretty decent drive even better because they already have lowering springs and my only thing is those that have them how do they like it?
BE
GD
The rear is completely different..
Maybe they ment to say 08+ wrx works with modding.. I doubt it but its at least a multi-link setup.

Ok I feel stupid for asking this because I'm 99% sure I already know the answer but I'd like to make sure before I pull the trigger and end up getting pissed off if I'm wrong. 02-03 WRX Springs should fit on BD Perches correct? IIRC it's the 04+ stuff that has tapered springs right?
Yes and no..
The rears will wiggle around
Can you be more specific? Does that mean the Legacy perch is wider then the WRX spring?
Yes it is wider.. so it slides forward/back/left/right.
It is possible to ride with the larger perch but its not recommened.
You can just grab some RS/WRX rears and be done with it.
Example: Zak's BK is running this combo;
F = 97' LGT struts w/ 02 WRX hotchkis springs
R = 05' RS strusts w/ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
