I went with 04 WRX Calipers all the way around. I got H6 caliper brackets for the rear and so I am running the 11.5" rotors all the way around. Was a huge upgrade over the wimpy little "L" Brakes.

What would be the biggest set up for running the Subaru snowflakes? I want the front and back to be from the same vehicle. The little 'L' brakes aren't cutting it. I plan on also getting the Grimmspeed Master Cylinder Brace to assist my braking.

BE LGT or Outback brakes will fit nicely under the snowflakes. They are the same calipers and pads as the BD/BG LGT and OBW, but the rotors are bigger.

2004 Legacy GT, 2 piston calipers, brackets, rotors.

If your L brakes aren't cutting it, considered better pads and fluid first?

    Thanks DarkPhoenix and Huffer.
My brakes are alright but I find them lacking and I would like alittle more. Plus I want bigger for just the looks of filling up in the rim.

Re: 1999 Legacy sedan brake swaps...WRX? STI? Others?!?!?

i used 05 l-gt brakes on my BD, and i didnt find them to be bothersome at all as far as acceleration was concerned. braking was much better, although that could prob be attributed to the ebc yellowstuff pads more than anything, but overall it seemed like a worthwhile upgrade.

    i'd do it again...

so just to clarify, the REAR vented 05 legacy gt brakes require a 17" wheel? is it the offset of the rim, and not the diameter that wont clear on a snowflake rim?
