Hey! Awesome build! Your little L has come a long way! Had to stop in and take a peek after you posted on my bumper-mod thread I love that under-seat sub! I've been looking for some oem Subaru ones for a while and can't seem to find any cheap. Also, how much did the front strut brace affect cornering? I definitely plan on getting a rear bar, (I'm addicted to over-steer) but I'd like something to stiffen the front a bit too.

The underseat sub was originally the OEM one. The woofer was bad. So I ordered the 6.5" EQ one. And my brother made the box.

The front brace is just eye candy. Doesn't do too much, the 2nd gen firewall is really sturdy in our cars. The rear one is a better buy.

Did some hunting for part of my H6 brake mod. No one has f#$%ing caliper brackets in my area. An Autozone had one about 50 miles away.
Time for me to hit the internet on that one.

you can just buy a whole caliper w/bracket for the same price. check out rear brakes for 00-04 legacy

I'm reusing my WRX calipers. that 108 includes rotors and the brackets.

There might be a small variance in the front line right where the line meets the caliper. I believe my stock ones were flat and the WRX ones were angled.

But then that was with my 95 L 2.2l. Yours could be different. Or it might not even matter. As I said before. I swapped my suspension and brakes (with lines due to mounting on the WRX struts) all over in a week.

Yea mine were 04 Wrx on my 99 LGT. Same mounting as stock.

In haven't done the H6 yet. Been saving money. Just on blanks.

Got my battery tie-down


And got a new cluster.
Has the grey faces, red needles, and a 120 speedo. Best of all, I'm back to stock colors for the lit parts.

I love the colors of it. I really like how it looks like the whole face is glowing at night because of the grey face. All the little dashes along the gauges are awesome too (and gives you that more accurate feel). Looks more race ready with fewer numbers on the speedo.

How long did it take you to swap brakes and struts? I still need to get/rent a spring compressor to put my suspension together. Thanks man.

It was done mainly over a week. Mainly the weekends. During the week was the painting phase for the calipers and caliper brackets. My brother helped me out alot with it. We didn't use a spring compressor but that probably would of made life simple. We used multiple jacks.

I think I am gonna sit down and seriously rethink where I want to take this car. The RS bumper might be close to the chopping block. I know its one of the things I longed for the most but I am now kinda over it. I still want big ass fogs.
