The games I played the most as a kid (and still do) are Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, and Goldeneye.

Re: What videogames did you play growing up?

First game ever... probably Wheel of Fortune on an old 286(?, don't think it was a 386) PC.
First driving game, same machine, Outrun. Oh my god did that computer not run that properly.

First games I played a lot:
Super Mario Bros 1,2, and 3
    Duck Hunt
    Tetris
    Bomberman
    Zelda
Startropics (Points to anyone else that knows this game!)

    Later on:
    More incarnations of Mario
Super Mario Kart in all forms
    More Zelda games
Super Metroid saw a lot of time
    Secret of Mana
    Goldeneye/Perfect Dark
    FF7
    Unreal Tournament
Any racing game I could get my hands on
2004 Subaru Impreza WRX (Stage 2)
    1998 Subaru Legacy GT

Re: What videogames did you play growing up?

Atari: Adventure, Indiana Jones, Pitfall, Haunted House, Superman, Starpath Supercharger (awesome expansion device that played games on cassette: Dragonstomper, Escape from the Mindmaster)
    Colecovision: Zaxxon, Donkey Kong, etc.

---then I was out of the scene for about 15 years :smt033

Then it was Resident Evil (all of 'em), Crash Bandicoot (ha remember that!), Skullmonkeys, Gex, Doom, Mario 64, Goldeneye, Wipeout 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Starfox 64. Bunch of weird-ass games on Dreamcast. Gamecube period was mainly a Metroid-fest.

Still have a thing for FPS and survival horror. Just played through Dead Space 2, pretty sweet. All PC though, no longer own a console. Emulation FTW :wav:
