ok cool started searching around for borla's they have part # 17183 looks like they will fit the 2.2l and 2.5 they all look like they are the UEL type just by the looks?
price varied from 350-380 looked like Jeg's had them cheapest for 350. what i was currious about now like 3 of the web sites i looked at listed borla headers as race only not to use on street or highway saying that they do not have DOT/EPA type certificates?? but the other web sites dont mention this at all.
Will these make it hard for me to pass my DEQ(oregon version/smog quality testing) any ideas? i thought well i could always keep my old OEM ones they not broke and use them for DEQ testing it like every 2 years i think around here.

While your in there man.. you might as well do any other seals / stuff that needs to get done. Better to pull the engine once, rather then have to do it a bunch of times.

Yea man there are a couple of threads that I have been taking a look at. I wiill be changing anything that I can get to. A shame that the engine has 93000 on it and a head gasket has to go. Oh well better doing it now rather than later down the road while the emgine is apart.

I might just put in a lightweight pulley while the engine and pullies are out. =)

Looking for a eg33 now. I hope to get whole car I found really cheap with a set of 17" wheels. Got to go for a drive though. Not even sure the wheels will fit? He desperately needs it gone. Time to upgrade the power. I will be selling a lot of aftermarket and oem parts too

If all goes well I should be getting a 92 svx pars car with a bad tranny on sunday! :smt026 It has about 97,000 on the engine. That means I will be selling a lot of parts excluding the exhaust. Going to part out the 2.5. Already might have a buyer for the block. As soon as the car gets here I will be posting a for sale thread.

Not much just head gaskets. I was going to pull the engine anyways, so I am just replacing it with something bigger and better. I know I will not get enough for the bad engine. My plan is just to part it out. Should make a little more that way and give a chance for people to fix theirs with my parts. Enine had only 93,000 on it after all and ran fine before the headgaskets.

the engine in my car is completely dominated. camshafts are siezed, broken timing belt, who knows what else.

a decent engine needing a headgasket isn't terribly scary at the moment, haha.

/edit: does it matter if its mated to an automatic or a manual? mine is a stick.

You want me to break my stock tranny don't you? That would be more than a 2 hour drive for me. I will let you know if the deal falls through. I am trying like hell to get someone to help me tow it. I am just going to stop depending on others and just install a hitch on the xterra and go get it. I ws going to get one soon to pull by 18ft bass boat anywas.

also, i regret not spending more time to measure space for a radiator to see if i could find a cheap premade aluminum one to fit in there. i know misimoto lists all the dimensions for all the rads they sell. i will probably go that route when i refab mine. beats spending almost 500 on a custom one to get it to fit in without modifying the shit out of everything.

I fucking hate uhaul! I drove 2 hours to pick up a trailer and the car and the basterds did not dig the trailer out and they closed early. I will fill you guys in later. I should get a free rental truck for all this bs hopefully! Car owner understood so we are going to try again!

I feel really bad parting it out, but I will get nothing for a roller!
