Yamazaki's '02 S401 / nothing new

So I took some solo pics at a self-serve car wash before I met up with a friend of mine at the docks to do a mini photoshoot. We then got into each other's car (He has an '05 Tuned by STI Legacy. The comparison/impressions are almost worth their own thread!) and drove back to the car wash for some more pictures. Here they are:

So I've told a few people this already...
At Boxerfest SoA representatives got to check out the S401 and even take it for a test drive. They said they are interested in purchasing it from me and we will stay in touch. They took my contact information and gave me theirs.
Part of me hopes they buy it, part of me hopes they don't.

I'm actually impressed you took it there! It's also exciting to see that Subaru might be interested, however, I love this car dearly and also hope you keep it... but this is your car.

I'm happy a few more people got to enjoy it. I also hope that I can take it for one more drive before you sell it, if it does indeed happen.

I would not say the S401 is not important to you. I would say its not practical here since you cannot legally drive it. I think if you were able to register it then this would be a different story.

You are 100% correct. I don't even care about the legality of it, but it bothers my wife greatly. The other annoyance is the 96 Octane requirement.

Huh? Who would buy it just to crush it? Do you mean Customs? They don't care because it's in here legally. They've closed the case on its importation. I spent two and a half years with paperwork and fees before it even came here to make sure of that.

So I was looking up something for a friend on the ee20 and came across a chart that says the final drive on the S401 is 3.90. I thought that seems to tall for how quick the S401 accelerates. Would you happen to know the final drive on this beast/beauty?
