Yamazaki's '02 S401 / nothing new

Sadness....

My friend with the Blitzen hurt his car.....badly :smt010.
We took off his bumper and I am going to try to repair it, but I don't know what I can do. We also found out that the '02-'03 Blitzen bumper I have doesn't even come close to fitting his car.

As long as none of the pieces are missing you can plastic weld it or repair it with some fiberglass.

This car is the ultimate Legacy IMO. If I could make my car perform like the S401 and look even half as good I will be content in life lol.

Yup. Same system as the H6 VDC in the US.

So long as it's a turbo car I think it'd fit; the H brace isn't near the headers.

I got a Cusco frame brace for my RS30 project, but after I found out that it won't fit the N/A Legacy I decided to put it on the S401. Finally, after 3-4 months of it just sitting around, I had time and installed it. It looks nice. It's just too bad that you can't see it unless it's up on a lift...

Damn, sorry i was not clear. What i meant is that the brace is close to the headers on N/A.
But do you think it will fit with aftermarket headers?.

Thanks! But I will have the two curbed wheels repaired and the exterior repainted (same paint). I've already bought replacement interior to change out too. I want this to be as if it rolled out of the factory.

I can finally announce that the S401 has made it to the US. A friend will pick it up on Tuesday and hold it for me until I get there.

Umm.... By turning the steering wheel and pushing the gas pedal with my foot...

Sorry I couldn't help it. Anyway, It's been imported legally so I'll have no problems with it. However, It is still registered as a Japanese vehicle and is supposed to retain the Japanese plates. I have to wait a couple years to register it in the US.

However, I plan on trailering it when I take it places because it requires an Octane rating that we don't have in the US. I know I can have some fuel mixed or whatever, but that doesn't help with long trips to faraway meets. I am still stuck with the US gas system. I'd also like to keep the milage down.

Up here in Canada we send our JDM ECU's out to a guy called Rob for a tune, he re-chips them and puts in a map for 91 octane.

I don't want it re-chipped. Then it wouldn't be an S401 to me. It will remain the way it is: the only mods being the cusco brace (which I'll sell if somebody wants it) and the high-mount brake light. I am even replacing the interior panels (with new ones), repairing the wheel damage, and repainting it.
As for the importation, I have a VERY skilled importer who has been in the business over 25 years. The truth is, even he wasn't sure we would be able to pull it off. The only reason I didn't use the collector/show car import was that EPA wanted proof of show entry and it would've been a temporary entry. I wanted it long term (forever).

If you could please try and get those HID headlight plugs before you leave so I can use the lights I bought from you that would be great.
