HIDs in 1st Gen OB Fog Lights

Has anyone put HIDs on the stock 1st gen OB fogs?

I've bought a 55w HID kit (9006 HB4) but it doesn't seem to be plug and play.
    Is there something I'm missing?

    Thanks

Are you sure it isn't an H3 bulb? Sylvania's website lists H3 and 9006 as two potential fog light bulbs (but it doesn't say which models use what - Outback or GT/L were two different foglamps for those models).

Yea I'm sure. I have JDM Headlights which are H3. But my OB fogs are 9006, as read on the halogen bulbs that are there now.

Ah - didn't realize you had JDM fogs in there.

As for the plug 'n play part, what doesn't work? Is it just the connections that aren't compatible? Maybe snap some photos as you haven't given much detail that we can go on.
