Bump this one up from the grave!

Everyone likes Pics! Here's what I've been up during the past 6 months (since I haven't been on the forum much during that time)

Engine is running, like a champ. Got the heads machined, a valve job, and cleaned the top of each piston before reassembling the motor. Not to mention the nice new Head Gaskets!

oooh shiny!

Clean heads, dirty block...

IM spacers and lengthened EGR tube

And here are a few other projects I've completed in the meantime...

kokopelli I made for my dad

A baseball player figurine I made the day that Dave Niehaus, the late Mariner's announcer died. I gave this to my grandpa for christmas.

some ladder/lumber racks I welded for his "new" truck. they've already gotten a lot of use.

And here are a few pictures of my latest "project", which is actually my new job. In December, I was hired at Todd Pacific Shipyards, on Elliot Bay in Seattle. I'm an Engineer contracted to help with the new construction projects in the shipyard, which just so happen to be Ferries for the Washington State Ferries system. There is also a lot of ship repair, on both civil and naval vessels done at the yard.

The Future WSF MV Salish

I spy a Space Needle

Variable pitch, controllable pitch propellers waiting to be put in the ferry

A very nice weld on 1/4" thick aluminum (wire feed welder)

Engine swap anyone? haha

Welcome to my busy life! Thanks for looking!
