First off, I installed the F-05 BR BC Racing coilovers on my 2001 LGT about a month ago. The first impression of these were amazing. BC Racing coilovers just look good and solid. In the past on other cars, I have had brands such as Megan, Skunk2, and Function&Form. None of those compared to the pure quality when opening the box. The package was shipped directly from the factory in Taiwan. It was very well cushioned inside the box (which I was grateful for considering how sh*tty the UPS men take car of packages around here...). After Further inspection of the struts I realized that BC had already preset the Preload at the perfect amount and all the struts were even in length. I was quite happy to see that they do actually take pride in their sale
INSTALLATION: The installation could have been smoother, though it didn't take too long. The biggest problem I ran into was popping the Axle out of the CV Joint on the passenger side, which delayed the process for awhile. Other than that the installation went quite well! Though, I had never installed suspension on a Multi-link before. I am not too much of a fan of the multi-link in this case, the room I had to move around when attempting to break the bolt lose was little to none. It would have been much easier if I had access to a lift!
RIDE QUALITY: Amazing! The dampening is so sensitive that you can find the perfect ride comfort for your style. When driving, the coilovers just eat up bumps. The car even got the "girlfriend OK" unlike my past coilovers that no matter what made stock suspension seem like a luxury.
As of right now being that it is winter, my car is only lowered about 2.0 -2.5 inches which is the height that the factory shipped them at.
