Thanks, and the strut bar is just an eBay one for a 2.5 RS. It bolts right on without any modification.Originally Posted by 1982gl4

I tore apart my dash a few weeks ago to replace the two main light bulbs in the cluster, it was actually really easy. I even popped the speedo cable back in, in less than a minute.
Then, today I replaced my dying Eclipse AVN2210P with a JVC KW-R500
New JVC
New JVC on the left and old Eclipse on the right

I also have stainless steel Borla replica UEL headers on the way.

I finished the last piece of my exhaust system. I had my UEL header modified by an exhaust shop and then installed. They converted my cat to a J-Style and did a little extending on the header to make it work. It sounds amazing now.
So my completed exhaust is as follows: Borla Replica UEL Header, generic hi-flow cat converter, secondary cat converter delete, to straight piping all the way back to an OBX B10 muffler.

Started collecting suspension parts. I picked up KYB GR2 235074 and 235073 for the front struts, KYB GR2 235069 and 235070 for the rear struts, KYB SB102 bellows for the front and rear struts, Mevotech 902924 for the front strut mounts, Mevotech 903983 for the rear strut mounts. I am gonna re-use my springs from my old struts too. I also have an STI control arm bushing on the way because the passanger side started to leak and I only ever changed the driver's side.

Making more progress on the Legacy. It's been off the road for awhile do to my suspension being messed up. I've been working on doing my struts, I have one more left to change. My passanger side control arm transverse link bushing started to leak, so I got a new one for an STI to go replace it with. Picked up an ABS sensor for the passanger side rear, somehow the wire got cut in half and I have no idea how. I'm also gonna be replacing my rack & pinion because it's on it's way out. I should have it back on the road by the end of August. I've been doing other stuff to it too, like new door speakers to match the rears and re-doing the Q-Towers on my Yakima roof rack.
Kenwood KFC-1694PS 6.5in 3-Way Speakers 75W RMS 240W Peak Power each
Sanded down the Q-Towers on my Yakima roof rack to bare metal, they were really rusty. Then shot them with a few coats of rustoleum and then plasti-dip to keep them covered nicely.
I replaced the rear passanger side strut, I had to take the back seat out to get access to the strut mounts.
Taking the old one out.

Finished up my struts, the drivers side rear was a pain. I had to get two of the top nuts cut off with a die grinder because they were stripped, then both of the bolts that connect the strut to the hub had to get heated up because they didn't want to move. After that everything got swapped out and put back together. So now my struts are all done.
Then it went in and had a new steering rack installed from a different Subaru, not sure from what but it works and isn't leaking. I think its for a 2nd Gen Legacy or 1st gen Forester, it's silver in color so it matches the KYBs. I had SuperPro SPF1972K steering rack bushings put on it, the old bushings were really brittle and the circular one had a tear in it. Also had the passanger side transverse link on the front control arm swapped out. Then got a 4 wheel alignment and now it is back on the street again. It needs a really good wash/wax it's been sitting for a month.

On Monday I was taking my brother to school and after I dropped him off a person wasn't paying attention and decided to turn out in front of me and ended up smacking my car. I was going 25 mph and luckily the damage wasn't too bad. My bumper is scraped up. Tomorrow I'm getting an estimate for how much it'll cost to either re-paint or replace my bumper depending on what the shop says. Then I will file a claim since it wasn't my fault. Fortunately they missed my fender and rim which could have been really bad. I feel really lucky that it wasn't worse and nobody got hurt.

Hey, if it's a replacement, maybe you can get a Turbo bumper or something...
I thought about that, but I'd lose my fogs that took me forever to find.Originally Posted by Muse
