    AT Oil Temp Light Flashing

This morning the AT Oil Temp light started flashing after starting my 98 Legacy. A few weeks ago while driving I had the light come on but never return until now. Following the steps outlined here

    http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulle...d-code-237225/

I tried to read the code but the light did nothing. Not sure what to do from here, any ideas?

I've tried using a couple different ways to get the code by blinking the lights like that with no luck. Fortunately for me I have a couple friends that have an OBD2 scanner. You just plug it in to the connector to the bottom left of the steering wheel, read the code, and look it up. They're pretty cheap on amazon

From what I've read it's my understanding that an OBDII scanner will not read that code as it is a TCM issue

I've had this light flashing my outback too. However, everything I've found shows the light flashing in some sort of pattern, but mine just flickers occasionally. Hoping its just a sensor going bad.
