wrx springs/struts on installed on a 95 legacy sedan

has anyone ever installed a set of wrx springs/struts/top hats onto a 95-99 legacy? Can it be down and is it an upgrade for the heavy legacy? Will it lower the legacy at all?? thanks, Tim
