LED's if done properly will last longer than regular bulbs, they are brighter and consume less electrickery.
that BE above nailed it in the blinker/reverse light section but the lights and brakes im not feeling at all.

It's an RS6 rebodied as a 3rd Gen Legacy.

That's the only possibility.

Dead91silvia
11-09-2011, 03:00 AM
You can re-drill the hubs to make them fit, I've seen it done with Nissans and some other cars before.. Seems like a lot of work for just Audi wheels though!

Stud Adapters.. Convert anything to anything.. Got Sti wheels that are 5x114? Only have 5x100.. use the adapter .. I don't trust them but people will be people..

or those wheels could be replicas, i know you can get get A8 turbine wheels in 5x100, look 100% correct but replicas.

just noticed that blue one with LED fogs has audi wheels too, and doesnt look like he is using spacers. so redrilled hub or replica wheels

and the red one with dual projectors has BMW 6 series wheels

httrdd
11-09-2011, 03:23 PM
^^ How the hell can you tell he is or is not running spacers in those pics?

dodik
11-09-2011, 04:59 PM
look at the second from the end pic of the blue BE, distance between wheel.rotor is too small to run a 25mm adapter. also most of those wheels have 35ish offset with adapters they'd stick out way more.

maybe one of them has access to a lather to turn new hubs and drill them to what ever you want. or swapped hubs from different cars.

And 2 of unknown origin, one is white (I assume yours is white?)...

How much you wiling to spend?
Yep. My car is white but it's being repainted as soon as I have all my body work done and parts in. So, color really doesn't matter. As far as the type of wing I'm looking for, definitely only the "whale" style wing. Nothing like what Tommy Kaira has. Never seen the R-Spec Datasystem Aeromaster before... I'm assuming the death black Hippo Sleek wing is what I'm looking for? For spending, I was hoping to keep the wing price somewhere around $500-$600 USD total if it's used.

nice hood inserts too, they fit well, i think likely in all scoobs!
The hood lines all seem to line up, I've seen them in a gen 1 hatch and they fit perfectly with the hood lines.

eekay that's a Tommy Kaira TB, complete car.

Deadsilvia from memory the red one is a full ZeroSports kit, can't remember the white one, maybe Hipposleek judging by the spoiler...EDIT: yeah the white spoiler is the Hipposleek type 2, like the black one for sale I posted in the thread about about the Limited bumper.

The lights are Morette, hard to come by and very expensive, in the ballpark of $400 when they pop-up (for the full deal with HID's).

eekay
02-28-2012, 04:22 PM

I have that spoiler, but mine is a SYMS. Are you sure it's a TK? I also have a Zero Sports mid-spoiler (the rare one with the key hole and the slanted reverse light holes). I should have everything put together this spring and painted. So, pictures will certainly come! ;)

hansvonaxion
03-08-2012, 07:00 PM
You can see the centre of the TK spoiler is separated from the ends by an indentation and on a different angle as if it were adjustable (but it isn't). Is your Syms like that or the one below? I think the angle makes it difficult to differentiate.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/hansvonaxion/Parts/3c8b3d70.jpg

Yeah I got a hold of one of those G-square mid-spoilers, there weren't even any company logos on it but now I know what it is.

eekay
03-12-2012, 08:24 PM
Without looking at it, I believe it like the flat one, which would make sense because I know for a fact it's an SYMS. I haven't mounted it yet (need to pain the car and all my parts first) but it looks like it won't have that adjustable look. Although, I do know that TK did make an adjustable BG/BK wing. Someone I know is actually debating selling it and his 3-piece Liberal "whale" style wing... I already have a Hippo Sleek and the SYMS but I'm debating picking up those other two wings as well. Haha. I'm a sucker for rare stuff like that.

hansvonaxion
03-29-2012, 08:13 PM
For me the drink holder sucks because it gets in the way of the navigation and the bottle is a fraction too tall to fit in the console so I would probably drill a hole or 2 in this to create a drink holder inside the console.

It's for a type A, can anyone confirm whether the console is different between early/late models?

I haven't a clue. In fact, just like you, I'd never seen either of those things either. I'm wondering if the heat diverters could be used in a BD/BG? Those would actually be real handy, too. Can you actually acquire these or are they something you just happened to find out about?

Looks like it goes on top of the dash on the JDM passanger side... Not functional for a USDM car... especially if you have a passenger side air bag.

Those are quite common, not on our cars, but Toyota Hiace, VW Caravelle/Transporter etc i have seen these before.

It's an insert tray that goes on top of the dashboard on the passenger side in the original pocket/ditch. Or in the center part of the dasboard top.

Harry, most cars here are auto, even GT-B's! Most people these days get an auto licence. People with a manual licence are seen as enthusiasts unless, perhaps, they live in the country, it's a bit more common there to have a manual licence..

Just checked and passenger airbag was an option on the late model GT-B's. Can't remember ever seeing one.

hansvonaxion
06-03-2012, 10:08 PM
Well if you have a manual licence in your home country then you can drive one here on an international licence.

My Australian motorbike licence allows me to ride any bike and so does the international licence in Japan but when I switch to a Japanese licence they only give me one up to 400cc and I have to take a test for the open class. When switching to a Japanese licence (mandatory after 12 months) it depends on the reciprocal agreements, Americans have to take a driving test for a Japanese licence, Australians don't.

Funny they just changed the laws re trucks here and my wife's licence allows her drive trucks up to 8tonne now! I think they messed up cos she can't reach the pedals on most cars.

Haha. That would be funny to see a tiny woman driving a massive truck. As far as the license transfer stuff, in the U.S. there is no discrimination. If you have a license, you can drive anything. Well, any type of car, scooter, etc.. Motorcycles need a specific license as do large rigs or semi-trucks. Otherwise, a license is a license. I never really thought about limiting morons to automatics. Might be a good idea!

HUH?! You have to have a manual endorsement? Thats hella funny! I have just a normal issue drivers license. I can drive anything up to 26,000 lbs, but no motorcycles. You do need a CDL enforcement for trucks over 26,000 gross, and an endorsement for bikes also. I would die if they wouldnt let me drive a manual car in Japan!

In Mexico, I think about 80% of their cars are manuals... We had a rental that was a 'nice car' that was an auto though. It's was like a 2011 Nissan Versa, but named a Tuase... what ever the hell it was... HAHA... it was a Versa in America...

The second kanji in Toyota can be pronounced ta or da (although it's usually determined by the preceding kanji) , I guess at some point they chose to go with ta. Like Mazda is actually matsuda but they went with Mazda cos its cool.

Apparently Nissan is a kind of nickname for the company that started it, ni from Nippon and San from manufacturing or something.

08-17-2012, 11:48 PM
Yeah. It's just an abbreviation that has been "Nipponized". It makes sense, though. All the Japanese people I know still pronounce "Mazda" as "Ma-zu-da". Not sure if it's the flow the of the language or not, but it doesn't really matter.
