I never got why rotors were sloted like that. After you machine a rotor you are supposed to put a non-directional finish on them so the little ridges don't grab the pad and try to push it outward. Wouldn't you think that a huge slot in a rotor like that would grab them and try to force them out?
However it is super cool that you can upgrade your brakes to 8 piston calipers and actually lose weight.

Usually you don't machine drilled or slotted rotors.. Most people who do it don't care and just slap them back in.. Proper shops will clean all the edges with proper tools to make them flush after machining. The purpose of the slotted or grooved design is the same as the drilled.. Eliminate gas build up between the rotor and the pads.

Body width is the same besides the addons that the lancaster has. I bet the Lancaster door covers will fit the USDM outbacks..

Those are B4 / RSK head lights with fiberglass eyelines.. They come with HID's and require cutting some metal to fit right.. You will have gabs near the bumper/grille and they are easily available off ebay or from Yamazaki himself..

In addition to gabs :wink:, you will also have some space between the lights and hood/grille. It doesn't stand out too much on a black car, but I don't think it looks very good on others.

:shock: YEEEAAAAHHHHH, I LOVE the JDM rear garnish's with leds, and the headlights are almost better looking in black, before they were painted - but any kinda HID projector setup (when done correctly) is by far the best possible lighting. :smt023 those mirrors are pretty sweet too.

They're all from Minkara. Also, that white one is confused. Check out how his lights have gaps between the headlight and hood. Also notice where the bumper meets the hood, how much wider the bumper is. Then there's a weird gap in the corners where the grille meets the bumper. This is because it's an A~C model car with D model lights and bumper. So it doesn't quite fit right. Thing's usually are less noticable in pictures, so I can only imagine how much more uneven it looks in person.

Wish I could find the link to the site they were from, it was a japanese site but there were like 10 BE's that were all VIP style, I enjoyed looking through it. Someone help!

They're all from Minkara. Also, that white one is confused. Check out how his lights have gaps between the headlight and hood. Also notice where the bumper meets the hood, how much wider the bumper is. Then there's a weird gap in the corners where the grille meets the bumper. This is because it's an A~C model car with D model lights and bumper. So it doesn't quite fit right. Thing's usually are less noticable in pictures, so I can only imagine how much more uneven it looks in person.

That white BE looks amazing. I had a heap of questions I was going to ask, but as I made my way through the thread, all were answered. :) Very nice thread.

Do you have anymore pictures of Rev a, b, c with rev d headlights with the gap? I noticed that eyelines/eyebrows are often used to cover the gap up. Also does the gap go away if you fit a rev D bonnet?

Cool! You can kind of tell it's origins because they never changed the hood or grille, so it has some weird gaps that show...

The white BH wagon is real nice, minus the gold rims and huge wing, I really like the big scoop on a subtle colored car. Now that I've seen that clear garnish / taillight set on a silver wagon, I know I it's not for me, :smt005 especially when it's like $400-500

digital dashes are difficult to set up AND make it aesthetically pleasing at the same time, I can tell you this, im a part of a lot of different car communities and forums and they all have difficult with finding just the right dash setup.

That is correct. For some reason, all the "limited" models were wagons. But I've seen one RS in the area with a limited bumper and I agree, it does look good.
