I'm gonna be doning them on an 97 outback with about 150k on it. Is there aynthing else I should do with the cam seals? I know timing belt and water pump but I'm not sure what else.

Crank seals, and water-pump are the other two. What gets to these engine's headgaskets more than anything else is heat soak of the block. Since you're already in there, water pump is the most crucial secondary.

Experience: I bought my car and it was in okay shape, engine wise. I paid a good portion of money in order to ensure the engine would have a long, happy life. I replaced everything you're talking about as well as what I mentioned.
