clutch cable replacement

hi, I used to own a 97 outback,i'm now looking at a 95 legacy with the 2.2 and 5 speed,my question is does the subie have to be jacked up to do the clutch cable and what has to be done to replace it,haynes manual is of absolutely no help as usual.

Download a copy of the Factory Service Manual in the Manual section. It will explain how to remove and replace it just takes a few mins to find the infos.
