i got a 1 inch lift kit for my 98' outback, i put the spacers on like i'm supposed to but now i cant get the struts back on no matter what i do. i've tried using a jack to push the strut up to meet the bolt holes, that doesnt work, i unbolted the control arm, the links, the axle, and everything to get more movement to get it bolted. nothing is working. i have reached the end of my abilities on this and NEED some sound advice, anyone do this lift?? anyone seen it done? anyone?? please please help! this is my only car and i have two kids who need to get to school tomorrow. PLEASE!

For 1 " lift requires new longer studs (3), did you have installed?

Sounds like your bolting the strut to the hub and trying to jack it up to the strut tower. I do the opposite which is easier. Shove the strut in there and finger thread the 3 strut nuts. Now you can manipulate the hub to bolt on strut. Tilt/push down etc.... Good luck
