2000 bumper change

I saw a 2000 Legacy that had a bumper off of a 2004. (I think it was on here). I love the look of it. I was wondering if they were easily interchangeable or if it would require other modifications to switch it out?

I found one online for about 230 dollars before paint in installation. Would this be a sound investment or would it just be a waste of money?

(Hee hee, i'm ignoring the fact that i need a new tranny as i contemplate this purchase...) :lol:

Is anyone else familiar with the car I mentioned above? I have been trying to find a picture of it for a few months now. I saw it last year. It is a white 2000 legacy and I believe it doesn’t have a spoiler, but I am not for sure one…

you gonna have to be more specific as to which bumper you're refering to, there was a change in design in mid 02+ so there are two differnt stock bumpers for the legacies pre 02 and 03+ also there are people at least one i think, that put an outback bumper on the legacy. what did it look like small fogs? big fogs? no fogs? look thru member rides BE/BH are the 2000-2004 legacies.
