so i got every thing on im 90% sure the key is in the pulley correctly but...
how do u tighten it back down/stop the engine from turning
the DIY said something about the tourqe converter cap housing thing but that was on a 2002 i cant find it on my 98

should be back on the rear of the block where it meets the transmission almost directly under the throttle body. Start your motor and look under there for movement with a flashlight or whatever. Should be easy as pie to spot then...or is it easy as cake? Brownies even?

if you looking at the TB it down to the left it look for a rubber cap/gromet

Is this only for automatics? I used some bigass clamps when did mine and wedged a screwdriver somewhere on the front side of the bock but it would've been nice if there was a better way.

i think the manual have the access to. but ive never botherd to look. so i could be wrong

if its a M/T
put it in 5th gear and have someone press on the brakes?

You can do it on a MT or AT but as subba said in a MT u just put it in gear. In a AT like mine u cant put it in gear with out starting it
