View Full Version : solid aluminum pitch stop??

im wondering where and how much i could get a solid peice of aluminum big enough to make a solid pitch stop with no bushings..

any takers?
also take into consideration that the car this peice will be going on is nothing compared to stock.. and i need everything i can get to hold this motor in place when i leave the line. also in need of solid motor mounts..

go to ebay. i think agency power make a solid aluminum pitch beam.

you can buy aluminum plates and bars from places like mcmaster-carr too.

Unless you literally have 1000hp and this is a purpose-built race only car, you don't need a solid mount. For the 450+ whp builds and time attac cars we do the cars still have rubber or urethane filled mounts. The cusco motor and trans mounts are great.

thanks for the help guys.. and no i dont have 1000 hp but i want the power to go to the ground and nowhere else.. i know what im doing..
