Yeah.. headlights flickering is due to a faulty ebrake switch. Theyre actually the DRLs cutting out. Annoying to say the least.
It made 170 WHP/WTQ @ 7.6 psi. The blower is just simply maxed out. Can't spin it any faster. So, I've got an m90 that is up next. That should give me my target numbers..
The torque curve just starts at 2500 rpm and carries straight to redline. Its just a stupid flat line, its great.

^^lol..well that's awesome 1055, 170? I would have thought more just by the screaming she was doing. A flat torque curve is better than a declining one right?Sweet work brotha keep powering up.
Btw, I'm going to be getting in a third gen wagon probably next Monday...this guy I talked to is super interested in my bd (4eat), he has a 2000 l wagon (5mt), anyway he asked if I could install a clutch in it for him, sure I say..but he peeped my sedan and his eyes started getting really rapey, walked around it for a minute then shizered himself when he saw that it was auto. He proposed a straight up trade after I install the clutch, he says he burned two clutches in 1 year and tired of paying for it. Not sure what to think, his car runs good no cels low mileage...kinda, 176k..don't know much about these models and motors.
...super excited, sorry if for the threadjackery but you guys own 3rd gen so thought I would share in a pretty good victory.

Doo eet!
Yeah, its a very angry 170. Like I said.. 250 is my target, as it was with my turbo.. turbo ended up cranking 10 hp and 30 tq over the goal and was plenty enough for me; but this blower won't support that with the lower compression of the 205.. so bigger blower time!
Keep in mind, that's 220-230 BHP.
Your goal is 340bhp?! Holy crap that's a lot

So basically I decided to skip straight to a v8. Like small block chevy v8. It will be happening.
Been there, decided that too. LOL picking up a 5.3 this

Aw, why a Chevy? Even if you swap it into something no one has ever swapped a sbc into... it will still be a run-of-the-mill sbc.
A 5.0 Ford? better but still kinda ordinary.
Mopar 318? Now we're talking unusual. Yet still with plenty of goodies in the Summit/Jegs catalog. and easily as much availability.
Or what about a Northstar? Wiring might be a PITA but OMGWTFEXOTIC!
I say throw a twin-turboed 20B in there. That will get you some serious "LOLWhut" factor.

Chevy Ls is cheap and reliable, and Ford and dodge suck anyway.
My first plan was to put a built subie motor in an FC rx7, but then after owning one 300+ HP subaru I decided they were annoyingly finicky and I wanted an easy reliable 450hp

Fuck ford. They suck. Everything they do.
You can not and will not get more 'bang for your buck' than you will from an sbc. Simple, reliable power. I'm shooting for 350rwhp. Though I'm sure 400 will be plenty easy enough to attain.
If you'd like to donate the $5k+ I'd be more then willing to drop one in my miata...Originally Posted by rkrenicki
Actually, me & Rob had a fairly long discussion about that. I suggest a 13b, instead. less rotors, more reliability, more availability, and easily as much ability to hit your power goal.
Then I started dreaming about rotary-powered AWD vehicles, and I was no good to anyone for the rest of the day.
The problem is the lack of torque the 13b makes.. maybe if e85 was readily available here I would consider it. But the BE is just too much of a pig to make it a reality.Originally Posted by Muse
