    Drift wing on my wagon?

I have a 2000 Legacy wagon which will soon be lowered and plasti-dipped black. I want to put a spoiler on it. Nothing insane but more than a stock spoiler. Any suggestions?

I don't even. Apparently, you and I have very different definitions of the word "insane".

Re: Drift wing on my wagon?

Might I assume that's not mounted at the angle you're talking about?
That would look kinda like this:

    Which, frankly, is just... outrageous.

I'm guessing you're talking about that style spoiler, maybe a twin-plane wing with that kind of end caps, but mounted more on the same level as the roof. Like this:

That is, not only far less visually jarring, it's gonna be better for your aerodynamics. You won't be throwing away your gas. not as bad, at least.
I don't, however, think anyone makes a spoiler like that specifically for Legacies. You'll probably have to modify something that exists for another model, or scratch-build.

Re: Drift wing on my wagon?

Upon further review it was in fact a dumb ass idea. Plus my latch wouldn't be able to open all the way with the way i wanted to mount it. But thank you for your help and hilarious usage of memes.

Re: Drift wing on my wagon?

You actually got me thinking about how to make a serious actual downforce-generating racing wing for these cars that would not impede the trunk from opening... Thanks... Now I'm stuck with a conundrum. XD

NO! I CAN DO THIS!!!! I just need... Aluminum... Er... Cardboard... duct tape... paper clips, fifteen packets of honey-roasted peanuts, a finger (Attached to a suitably intelligent (and preferably pulchritudinous) assistant, of course,) Access to the NORAD mainframe, and bubble gum. lots and lots of bubble gum.
