That is quite the unamused, gimme my ball right now face he's got working there! I'm working on teaching my guy how to play with various toys. He's getting the hang of it but somehow the corner of my wooden coffee table always seems to be more appealing to gnaw on.

I've been putting off buying LEDs for all the interior lights for a while, but after superbrightleds had a promotion for 15% off I figured that I have waited long enough. I went ahead and purchased LEDs for every interior light: cargo light, dome light, map lights, glove box, puddle lights, illuminated ignition ring, you name it. I got them all installed and I seriously regret not doing this sooner!! I love how clean and modern it looks, and not to mention how insanely bright the interior gets now. The only bulbs I didn't replace are the vanity lights in the visor....I seriously have no clue how those will come out without breaking (anymore) plastic bits.

Well...it's been quite a long while since I've updated this thread. Some minor things have changed on the BH, but a fairly significant change has arrived on my stoop this afternoon. Stay tuned to see what unfolds. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1443129999.016135.jpg

Well, it's in! My JDM BFM has been installed and is working flawlessly. A huge thank you goes out to rkrenicki for all of his help. I've got some LEDs to put in the halos but that'll have to wait until after this potential hurricane rolls through.

Agh I've been slacking! Between work, a recent trip out to Seattle, and a non-functioning computer, I haven't done much car related things. That will change very soon though with some nice updated car pics.

In the meantime here's a picture from one of my new favorite places. I <3 you PNW. :smt055

Blue halo pic inbound! I finally broke the camera out this evening and got some shots of the BFM after I installed some blue LEDs. I never get tired of looking at it.

Holy crap I totally forgot to look under my dash at that keyless entry module. Sorry man, I feel like an arse. Let me know if you still need the info.

And yep, just blue T5 LEDs. When I got the cluster some of the bulbs were burned out in the halos so I replaced them all with LEDs. I like the blue better than the orange/yellowish of the incandescents.

The halos are illuminated separately from the tach and speedo values.

I get my LEDs from superbrightleds.com. Overall quality is pretty good and shipping is fast, sometimes I get a few duds though. I currently have one LED out in my halo and its making me nuts...but I suspect that it might have just rattled loose.

The halo bulbs are just like any other bulb on the BFM...just twist and remove. This is of course only doable on the JDM cluster, as BE/BH USDM clusters do not have illuminated halos.

I've got some big changes coming in the next few months, and not too many people outside of close friends and family know about them. I figured that it's a good time to let the SL-i family in on it, too.

I'm moving to Washington state! I've been trying to get my foot in the door of law enforcement, and after applying with a few agencies in the PNW I was offered a position in the training academy for a State Trooper position with the Washington State Patrol.

Now I've been busy getting the wagon ready for the drive out. The throttle position sensor, idler and tensioner pulley bearings, and hood latch was just replaced. Still need to replace the lower control arm bushings and most if not all of its fluids. I finally got around to installing my D Type headlights, which unbeknownst to me, are from an S401 or GT-B/RSK S-edition, and also put a pair of color matched eyelid things on.

Haha cool. You'll love it there. Plus a Lotta sl-I members there.

And... here's a nice touch. The kitsap County sheriff dept. (Different than Hp I kno but still) has a black 2005 legacy gt undercover car they use to bust speeders. It is murdered out with red stop tech BBK and flashers in the bumper and the hoodscoop lol

Ahhh yes I saw that! I think it's this one?

I was looking into applying with Kitsap County and I came across their LGT when I was looking into their agency. Pretty fricken sweet!

I took the BH in for some work to be done on it before the long trip out to the PNW.

The list of stuff being replaced/fixed includes:
    -Spark plugs
    -Oil
    -Brake fluid
    -Coolant
    -ATF
    -Diff fluids
    -Accessory belt
    -Air filters
    -Driver's side inner tie rod
    -Both lower control arm bushings
-New pads and rotors on all corners
    -New thermostat
    -Alignment

Should drive like a new car after this is all done.

Not much is new in the world of the BH. Thinking about getting the windows tinted soon and I need to fix the burnt out lights in my BFM, but that's about it.
