So long as the bar comes with bushings it should be alright. Actually that's a lie, there are two different kinds of mounting brackets/bushings, which no one really mentions. I think they differ by engine, 2.5L cars have beefier ones with a couple ribs in them, 2.2L cars have flatter ones. I might be wrong on that.
The place where those fender braces go is so easy to work on when they fender's off that if anyone's going to so something custom they just weld in a beefier brace.
