Finished putting the interior back together and started driving it some. I just wish I could figure out this fuel gauge issue. When I turn the car on the gauge goes up to where it should be. Then if I start driving it drops to E until I stop somewhere where it will most of the time start to go back up to where it should be. Its got me baffled.

The float in the tank may have a leak, or the arm for it might be binding. I remember that being a common issue for the first gen Legacys.

It worked perfectly fine when the HG went and then the car sat for almost 2 months when i was swapping other things over. I hope the senders are just a little gummed up and will clean up with a few tanks of gas.

$280 with 4 near new tires, already mounted and balanced.

Nice! I was thinking of getting some if I ever found any at the right price...

I just ordered some new Fusions from Tirerack this morning... My tires are cashed and I have another one leaking... Hoping to get tome goo snow boarding in the winter! Last winter sucked!

not so much work on my car but we had a bit or a workshop day tinkering on a few different cars. We changed jocks up pipe, flushed the cooling system and installed some braided brake lines and changed a wheel bearing in Ant's. Tristan also showed in in his "new" honda and did his stereo install

Does anyone else remember when a bumper like that was available on ebay once a long time ago? Someone on here bought it. But I don't think he's on here anymore. He had a gunmetal colored sedan... I would love to have that bumper!

Anyways, put on my winter tires mounted on 16" snowflake rims. I actually really like how they ride compared to my low profile falken tires on 17's. It's a lot less noisy, a lot less bumpy, and the different offset of the rim "fixed" the wheel bearing noise on the back left bearing! Yay for winter tires!

Too expensive. $600 is a good deal!

I usually wait until early winter, post Christmas to buy my "summer rims" because people realize they need to get rid of things, they're moving or trying to head to school.

Fixed my gas gauge. I realized it would work when I unhooked my seatbelt, then drop to E when it was hooked. Had to disconnect a wire I had spliced and just run it to ground. Works perfectly now. Thats what I get for merging harnesses and not checking the wiring diagram when I have a question about something.

As long as I have a wiring diagram I can find anything. I had to take care of the wiring when my friend swapped his ford ranger from auto to manual and it was easy with the diagrams. The largest problem I think I had in this swap was I used the wiring harness and computer from a 96 build 97 in my 98 car. If you do swap things try and stay either pre or post build swap. A wiring harness from a true 97 or a 98 would've made it a lot easier and more direct, but everything works now except ABS and I just pulled the pin that lights up the dash from the harness so no big deal.

Now it's time to take the couple parts I want from the 97 and then let all the vultures around here have at it before I get rid of it. I'll have some pics up with info about it soon for those that want to strip body or interior from a white 97 LGT.

And I'll also make a post about my swap soon. Maybe one day I'll deal with the abs wiring and get that working if I'm bored.

Did you ask 4Zero1Motorsports or Reason here on the board?

Um.. no? I haven't been around the forum in awhile, been busy with my job and my band. Old band broke up due to random bullshit, started a new band and it's been hell on earth trying to start over with all new material and members. My car hasn't been a problem for a very long time. Till the clutch judder starting getting very noticeable and then it felt like I was trying to shift gears through a pillow. Then it started squealing on normal take offs. All with a half mile of stop and go redlights I felt the clutch starting to slip then poof! My shifter laid over dead and I could smell burning clutch and see smoke coming out of the hood. Pretty dramatic really.

My old 94 Dodge Shadow did the same thing years back, except I should have known it was coming when the starter was giving me problems like it was bogging down when turning over. Then one day in Virginia on the I-64, I shifted gears, felt like I hit a bump that wasn't there and the shifter fell over and I had no gears.

This time though with my GT, I was able to get my car to my inlaw's place since it was really close.

I called NAPA and Autozone and they quoted me some ungodly prices for their house brand clutches. I figured since my car has some light upgrades I probably don't want to use "house" brand stuff. I knew a subsidiary of Exedy makes the clutches for Subaru. I researched the going prices and figured 350 for the Exedy replacement kit and F1 12 pound flywheel was good.
Figured I toss the stocker flywheel seeing how it's probably the last original part in the damn car next to the pistons and crankshaft.
I also know that having a LW drive pulley and LW flywheel might give me a CEL. But it depends on the car. I'm willing to deal with that, I have a code reader.

So, on the 30th my kit will be here. I'll take pictures because I imagine this will be a hellacious job. Well, not really but just getting to the clutch.

If you have an engine hoist, pull the engine, it's SO much easier than dropping the tranny. It takes me like 2 hours to pull a subaru engine now in my driveway and most of that is draining the coolant and other stuff heh. You wont have to touch any of the drivetrain junk or do anything under the car except 2 nuts on the engine to tranny, 2 nuts for the motor mounts, and 6 nuts for the exhaust to engine.

They're not bad. Before I stumbled into the world of Subaru, I bought my wife a 2005 Hyundai Tucson GLS. (same thing) Brand new at the time. It hasn't been in the shop for anything other than 2 recalls in the 5 years. She likes it because it's got a shit-ton of airbags and safety gizmos and it's not a giant land barge. I don't care for it much because it feels narrow and "floaty" on the highway.

For what it's worth, she wants a Forester now since we've recently been talking about trade ins. She likes my Legacy.

Drained transmission oil. Removed starter, headers, most of the remaining exhaust pipes towards the rear of the car. Got the O2 sensors off.
Just a lot of prep work before all hell breaks loose tomorrow.

Along the way I noticed that the exhaust hard mount in the middle of the car was sheared off. I guess that explains the rattle I was hearing forever but never could find. Also noticed that everything from the second cat to my new muffler looks like total crap. No corrosion holes but shit looks so bad I really not sure how this exhaust system will go back in my car and not leak somehow.
Like that center pipe with the spring bolts. Even if I weld the chassis mount back together, that pipe coupling looks like decrepit shit.

Installed my rear strut brace. Had to cut the brackets because they sent me brackets that don't fit the wagon. But after some paint, cutting and a bit of cleaning up, it's a perfect fit now.

Pulled my entire exhaust system out because it was needing to be done.

I'm trying to drop my transmission. I have a cradle for it. The driveshaft is fused together. There is no room to get substantial tools onto those 4 little 12mm bolts. After 12 years and 156500 miles, they're corroded together and they've been soaking in liquid wrench for 2 days. Either I'm going to have to pull the engine to change my clutch, cut those fused nuts or something astronomical. Just doesn't help that there is no room to get any tools in that space.

What we do here in New England, the land of salt and rust, with stuck bolts, is get them glowing red with a torch and then use a wrench. As long as there's nothing to melt near it, it works great. I have found that the bolts on the Subarus tend to be of low quality however and like to snap a lot of the time when they're in steel. I still prefer to deal with the 1/2 ton hardware on my truck, but even with that I have snapped a 3/4 inch stud when trying to get a rusted nut off. Not to mention all the ratchets and breaker bars I've bent or broken. But with some good heat and a little finesse just about anything will come apart. (If not there's always an angle grinder with a cut-off wheel)

Soul Shinobi
12-02-2010, 12:11 AM
For living in New England I'm still behind in my drilling-out and tapping skills, I've never used a helicoil either. I have gotten pretty good are working stubborn bolts, though I've broken my fair share too. Penetrating lube, wait 10-30 minutes, more lube, tap-tap tighten, tap-tap-tap loosen (or maybe delicately impact), then I'll move on to the propane torch if that doesn't work. No where near as hot as an oxy-acetylene setup, but it's what I've got and it works.

Side note, my friend broke a lower strut bolt because he wound up cross threading it, can you believe it? You should have seen the breaker bar the nut job had on the thing! Good thing I had a spare.

ShadowGT
12-02-2010, 12:36 AM
I've gotten good at extracting stuck or ruined hardware from the car. But there just isn't any physical room to work on this problem. This is the stage of dropping the transmission where the drive shaft has to be unbolted and slid out the back of the transmission. Well.. those are some tiny ass bolts. Four 12 millimeter bolts. Between the universal joint and the support frame, you can not get any ratchet in there. Just two very small open box wrenches and even if things went smoothly you can only get a quarter turn at time. That transmission tunnel is so narrow I thought about a torch, a recip-saw, a nut splitter, nothing fits.
That tutorial on the RS forums for the clutch install was perfect world without having seized hardware.

SOOOooooo.....

Engine is coming out. I have no choice now. The car is set up, exhaust is out, starter is out, coolant is drained for a future flush.

So I gave my stuck driveshaft nuts one last try with vice grips for the hell of it. They freed up without destroying anything. Needless to say, one thing lead to another and I got my transmission out today without incident. A lot of cursing but without breaking anything.

I installed my Exedy clutch and F1 12 pound flywheel. Tomorrow everything goes back in the car.

Between you guys and that RS forum clutch DIY, things have gone smoothly aside from getting stuck with a seized bolt.

However, that RS forum DIY made a note to detach a ground wire from the transmission. I found no such wire.
Also note that the gear shifter came down with the transmission. It was just faster that way.

Glad you finally got that project moving again. That throw out bearing is the ugliest thing I've ever seen! The grounding wire is right under the firewall side of the pitch stop, kind of easy to break off, someone else might have.

^^ did you install a Tranquil Sleeve kit for the T/O bearing? I did when I had my clutch replaced, made shifting much smoother and I don't have to worry about wear on the snout. Google "Subaru 5MT Snout Kit" or "Tranquil Snout Repair".

Aw damn, that would be nice. But my car has been so delayed and my wife is pissed at me for using her truck to do my night rotations and band practice. I guess next clutch install I'll make sure to set money aside for the snout kit.

I'll take another look for the ground wire. The Haynes book makes no specific reference to it either.

Sorry for the double post but to keep in context of the subject:

Put the transmission back in. Myself pushing up the bellhouse, my father in law guiding and pushing up the tail of the trans, my wife on top of the engine steering the transmission and getting hoses out of the way. Took 30 minutes.

Drive shaft back in, crossmembers, all electricals and exhaust installed.

Filled gearbox with Mobile 1 synthetic oil. Changed motor oil, put in Mobile 1 synthetic oil. (I get discounts.) Installed K&N Oil filter HP1004. Flushed radiator, refilled.

Tightened the belts, secured the rear upper strut bar, and buttoned the car up. Drove it home for the first time in 3 weeks.
Keeping with the clutch break in process I didn't flog the car. But I drove it in stop and go traffic and a bit of highway.
With the lightweight flywheel and lightweight drive pulley, I have not got a CEL yet and I drove for about 30 minutes nonstop.
The car's throttle is very twitchy now. It revs and falls very fast, like noticeably - I'm not crazy - fast. It takes more throttle to stay smooth on the clutch, but it doesn't take much effort on the car to get throttle.

Basically what I'm saying is that either with the new clutch breaking in or in concert with the new lightened crankshaft parts, it takes more power to evenly clutch but it takes less pedal action to get that power.

The car feels like a new animal.
Like.. more fun to drive.

Edit:
Also in observation: I discovered I will need that Group N transmission mount. The current on one the car looks bad. I'll also eventually pick up that shifter arm rear bushing kit from Kartboy because that current one looks bad too.

Great. Thanks for the thoughts on how the flywheel feels. Let us know how the gearbox oil feels, some people get grinding with fast shifts at high RPM on synthetic gear oils. And faster shifts will be required with that flywheel.

EDIT: ShadowGT, you don't have a member ride thread, do you? You should make one to keep track of your maintenance, mods, and how the car feels.

Your welcome! I figured I'd share what I discovered because I lot of people are up in the air about going lightweight on both sides of the crankshaft.

I will say this about the oil, my father in law works for Exxon Mobile at the refinery. He gets discounts on all their stuff and I've been using it with this car for everything except a few times. I've had this short throw shifter for awhile too. I've never noticed any grinding before but I'll really be on the lookout for it.
Yes, with how twitchy the throttle has become, shifting has to be a bit faster and with the whole lightweight set up and the short throw shifter, it does modify how you drive. I found that out just getting out of the driveway.

I did have a member's ride thread but it got locked because.. well.. either a rule changed and I never realized it or I broke a rule on accident (I'm SORRY!)

I have been on a crazy road of mods, maintenance, and mayhem with this car.
I'll ask to have it reopened so I can share how my whip feels now. Because all I can say is.. it feels new!

Went to put my Forester struts in my car, only to find out that genius who decided it was a good idea to put one Legacy strut on the passenger side front, rounded the camber bolt and put a regular Impreza brake caliper on the drivers side front. Oh yeah, and the clutch in my gf's GF went. That will be done in the next day or two, if it can warm up at all here in NY.

Had a really wierd issue with my Outback. Codes thrown were
P1507 (IAC malfunction - failsafe) and rear O2 sensor malfunction,
and the car's was around 1.5k rpm.

The o2 sensor code had been on for a while, but since it was the 2nd o2 sensor, it didn't affect the drivability or fuel economy as far as I noticed. My starter failed and I took off the intake to remove it easier, and afterward the 2nd code (p1507) started appearing. I thought I had an intake leak or something but couldn't find anything.

I found that I had wired the rear o2 sensor incorrectly and corrected it. This got rid of the codes initially, but the p1507 would come back on when the car was fully warmed up and after driving it for a bit, when I came to a stop the engine would run roughly and went into limp mode. The code reset itself when the car was off for a while.

According to my research, this could be 1 of 2 things, a sticky IAC, or a failing or failed neutral switch on the tranny (a 5mt). Someone's offhand remark on another site mentioned that it could be the cruise control's cable was too tight, lol. Always one for trying the easiest things first, I did look at the cables, and the cruise WAS too tight! I loosened both cables so they were taut when the throttle was completely closed (as the cruise cable had been pulling the throttle open a bit at idle, more than the IAC was telling it to, hence the computer detecting a malfunction), crossed my fingers and fired it up. Check engine light again. I remembered someone had mentioned that certain CEL's won't dissappear until 3-5 successful starts of the car (ie. where the computer no longer detects the problem), so I did, and the light disappeared! Success!

Ball joint was causing vibration and upon inspection it was clearly on it's last leg, so I began to change it...
Found a fresh pin on the old castle nut, which wasn't too odd....
Then I began to realize everything that someone would need to pop the joint to replace was still OE, meh keep going...

The ball joint simply wasn't coming out. (period)

after shearing the nut (even with heat), I had to drill it out. I got half way though when I broke a bit, it was down hill from there... my now off-center hole wasn't getting any better and I eventually eat into the knuckle FINE! I get a new knuckle, carefully line it up in the vice expecting to endure the same torture, but guess what, it pops right out. :smt012

...go back to the car and put a punch on the axle stub...pound
funny, it didn't move... pound-pound-pound, nothing!

Okay, sledge hammer with everything I/we had, still nothing!
Parts store was then closed, so the only hope was throwing it in the press... 25ton and still not even 1mm of movement :smt021

So, finally just got a new axle and got it all together... not a thing on that corner came off easily for some reason.
At least the driverside joint came out with just a little bit of heat.

So anyway...
(2) New balljoints, used knucle, and a lower quality axle I didn't need
(4) New Firestones, Grids were nearly new...so they'll go back on in the summer once I find a 4th with like 2500 miles on it.
And I got an alignment of course

That really sucks! When I changed my tie rods and ball joints, it took absolutely forever because everything was seized together in some way. I mean I have tie rod pullers and ball joint wedge forks and with cheater bars and a sledgehammer I though I was going to give myself a hernia or severely mangle something on accident. Talk about total suckage.
I even torched everything till it was red and got nothing.

Back in context with the topic:
I order the Kartboy rear shifter stay bushing just now because it's just another one of those bushings in a long list that have to be replaced due to age and wear. Should have got it and replaced it when I ordered the front stay bushing a year ago.

My Kartboy Rear Shifter Stay bushing came in the mail last night and I looked at my car. That's it. Working night duty rotations, no time to put it on ramps and get to work until the day after tomorrow.

On a side note.. Two nights ago, I started to drive to band practice. Made it halfway down the block and a CEL came on and the speedometer dropped to zero while I was driving. Turned around and went back home. The car ran fine, just no speedometer. Took my wife's truck to band practice. Haven't had time to investigate my car.
I have every reason to believe that after pulling the transmission out that the speedometer sensor backed out since I put 250 miles on the car since the clutch install. I looked under the car, didn't see it dangling anywhere but did see that rearmost wire harness hanging lower than usual that holds the all the sensors from the transmission.

The car immediately turns sideways without ABS, and just plain doesn't stop with it. I can't feel when the wheels lock up like I could with my BC. It makes me wish it was dry right now, but I used to love the winter with my old car, it drove like all the diffs were locked, it was invincible. This BK is a joke, I can't wait to crash it.

What do you think makes it so much worse? I've owned bc's, a bd, a bk and sf's and they were about the same on the snow. Well the BD was auto so starting always included wheelspin until the tranny figured out the conditions are slippery and shifted power to the rear. I found that I prefer abs on snow and no abs on ice, and I always run snow tires (studless).

Dead91silvia

I'm really annoyed and disappointed. My car is impossible to drive in the snow on my all-seasons, and handles way, way worse and less predictably than my old BC Legacy, which I really miss right now.

What kinda tires do you have? I'm replacing my old Fusions and my BD is awesome in the snow! I also pull the ABS fuse, brakes 100X's better without ABS... Never had a better snow car, still have yet to go some where I cant get out of... most of it is all in the tires. I had some really bad ones when I first got it, frost scared me! Fusion's are All Season's with a mild snow rating. I still have never used a snow tire on my car....

Soul Shinobi
12-22-2010, 11:48 PM
The BC felt noticeably more taught (note the mileages on my cars too). I can feel every bushing flex more in the BK, and there's less feedback. I just can't feel what it's doing. The trade off seemed to be that the BC was louder inside, but everything felt more connected; sportier.

I ran both cars with crappy all seasons, the BC had one crappy set the whole three years I had it. The ones on my BK have more tread than those ever did. I planned on snow tires, and bought some that were too old because I was too nice to the guy selling them, so I didn't have them mounted. I want to sell them and get some decent ones, but I'm on the fence about it because I don't have a lot of money to spare. Maybe i'm just pissy tonight, I'm going to go to a parking lot and see if there's something more I can learn from this car.

Dead91silvia
12-22-2010, 11:55 PM
I'll say, my 1970 Volvo 142 I had was a beast in the snow! I had much better feed back in the snow and it also had some really nice Goodyears on it, but that was a long time a go... I had my BD for about 4 months before I drove in the snow, so I got used to it and also playing in gravel kinda helped...

Soul Shinobi
12-23-2010, 12:58 AM
Alright, I feel better after playing in parking lots for an hour. I decided that the issues are (in order): 1) I'm being pissy. 2) These tires are particularly bad. 3) This snow is more like ice. 4) The BK is softer than the BC. Basically, I really shouldn't be blaming the car.

I did a lot of stopping distance tests with and without the ABS. Without is better, but not by a whole lot (3.5 car lengths vs 4 car lengths). What's most important is I got the practice I needed to get a feel for the car on icy snow. I feel more confident now.

With snow tires these cars should be awesome in the snow. My current 5 spd legacy with shitty tires isn't as good as my automatic GT with good all seasons. Ill be ordering some snow tires soon and we will see the difference.

Installed Kartboy rear shifter stay bushing. Old one was crumbling. Now I have a Karboy short throw shifter, front and rear bushings.
Really wished I did this when I had the transmission out. With the drive shaft and exhaust still in the car is took absolutely forever to drive those bolts in.

Re-seated my speedometer sensor, plugged it back in. CEL I had was a p0500. Cleared it, test drove car. No longer have CEL. Speedometer either flutters around while the car is driving or sits at zero. But no CEL.

Couldn't remove sensor, I don't have the right wrench end to work in that area. Need to go get that ratcheting open box end set. That open box end ratchet wrench attachment.
When I pulled the transmission I just unplugged the sensor and left it in the car.

Car works though, will use GPS or pace traffic to figure out how fast I'm going for the next few days.

Damn speedometer fluttered a bit then stopped working. CEL p0500. Stopped clearing the code because I know it comes back on 5 minutes later as long as I have no speedometer. Can't go about removing the sensor until I get that different ratchet attachment. My obstruction wrench doesn't fit in the space. Checked the wiring, it's fine. Checked the plug, it's ok. Unplugged, plugged back in. I can plainly see that the sensor has sort of backed out. It worked the last 255 miles before it stopped. Right now I know that 2500 RPM in 4th gear feels reasonable for the city. 3500 RPM in 5th gear feels pretty quick on the highway with nobody to pace.
My cell phone's GPS info is too small to read while driving. Need my wife's TomTom for the drive to work to keep an eye on the speed.

I'll have this sorted out in a few days. Of course I forgot to pay attention to see if the odometer works. Find out tomorrow. Other than that, my little shake down drive was good. Nice to be able to shift gears precisely again.

3000rpm in 5th = 60mph

That's with my 16in BK/GT wheels?
Wife took off to her folks with the TomTom, I paced myself with highway traffic to work this evening. 3000/3500RPM was keeping me up with traffic and passing some cars. But not passing everybody in the planet. Having the lightweight flywheel changes how the car feels so I can't really feel like the car is working to keep up. Less gas pedal I guess to make the same result.

Oh yeah.. odometer definitely doesn't work. There goes my record keeping.

At my grandparents in Maine for the holiday. My cousin has a 1990 Legacy L, made me miss my old Legacy, minus the soft as hell shifter. This car of his needs a lot of work though. Headgasket issue, it's consuming coolants badly. Wrong battery in it, unsecured of course, but I did alright trying to make the hook-ups a bit more secure. The check engine light was flashing, turns out the D-check connectors were left connected. I disconnected that, and connected the normal check connectors to read the CELs (http://www.surrealmirage.com/subaru/engine.html). 22 and 24, knock sensor and IAC. Not too bad. Grandpa (Pappy we call him) didn't have carb cleaner, but he did have some dry-gas, so I poured some in the IAC and PCV valve. Runs a little better (most likely because the green D-check isn't connected now), but could use a hardcore Seafoaming. Oh yeah, and headgaskets.

Hey which one of you jerks posted a pic too wide, throwing this thread out of whack? Oh, it was Surreal182.

Books-A-Million carries stickerbomb books in store. Supposedly, at least what they say on their website. I'll go confirm this.
Tomorrow.. fix my speed sensor to make my p0500 go away which triggers a p1540, which triggers a p0301 and p0302.
Found a thread on NASOIC from a dude with the same issue. Speed sensor on the transmission failed, after some time the ECU freaks triggering a 1540 which relates to the IACV, makes the car go to limp home mode. Car runs rough after awhile, sounds stumbly in upper power band, triggers misfire 1,2.
So I guess you can only go so far without a speedometer before the ECU has trouble managing other things.
Got the tools.. Should have this cleared in an hour and report back my success.

Still checking out my speedometer issue. Pulled my instrument cluster out and checked that little two wire plug for the speedo. Read somewhere and actually saw a youtube video about how those sockets get loose overtime. Mine isn't loose and the wire is perfectly fine. Should stuck some LEDS in there while I was looking at the back of the cluster.. but I wasn't thinking of it at the time.

Problem seems to be with either the sensor itself in the transmission or the plug for it. Sometimes I can get the speedo to fluctuate then it dies. Usually requires me to pull the sensor and put it back in. Then it's good for a couple hundred yards then it stops working.

Cheapest replacement so far is 109.99 USD at Autozone.

^^ is making me want to throw on my 17" LGT wheels even more now. But cannot...no snow treads for them!

Spent a bit of last night going sideways in an abandoned KMart parking lot... which is right next to a major road with snowplows and cops crawling allover it. Needed side window wipers by the end of it. Felt bad for the dude who parked in there earlier in the day, and was now trying to dig himself out (hello, bald tires in winter?). Gave him a nudge with the car, got him on his way.

Yea, I have 2 sets of identical snowflakes heh. One set with summers and one set with snows. No matter what the season my car looks the same, I like it.

I have 2 sets of 16s and 1 set of 17s...technically 4 sets total as the wife's Accord has multi-bolt universal summer wheels too. :D

I should really offload a set of 16s...

Getting ready to do a nice bit of work to my car thanks to a great bonus and a loving girlfriend.

Replacing both cats, getting a header for the car, replacing the fuel filler pipe, new drivers front axle, replacing the impreza caliper that is on the driver's front from the previous owners stupidity. Once it warms up, I will be taking out the engine and do the head gaskets, before they blow.

I sold my snowflakes way back, to Grafton. I've never liked multi-spoke designs, I have RS wheels, 02 WRX wheels and now 05-09 Legacy GT/SE wheels. I don't like polished lip designs either...

My OBX conversion kit came in today. I should take pictures of it, it's all legit. The reason why it's a conversion kit is because they assume you already have the MAF collar connector and the rubber or silicon connectors. Basically a cheap option for those that have an SRI and want to switch to a CAI. The pipes are all chrome.
I will document the install process. I might put my Cosmo SRI up for sell minus my KN cone filter and all the adapters.

I had to go to work tonight so I literally ran into th UPS guy on my way out the door.

Also got Pandora Radio on my phone to work with the line in jack on my car stereo. Nice!
